Job Listings, Internships & Scholarships ASPA's online career center at PublicServiceCareers.org aids members' career development at all levels, and offers the most comprehensive and useful information about careers in the field. Another source of information for local jobs and possible internships is the chapter’s Facebook page. There are also internship opportunities to get a first-hand approach to the public sector. MiamiDade County is offering these programs. They are directed to undergraduate or graduates college students. ASPA’s Headquarters also recognized that thanks to our chapter’s dedication in advancing the mission to all working in the public service arena, ASPA continues to be recognized as the premier association for those who work in the public sector. To the ASPA South Florida Chapter Winners of the Natasha Seijas, "Women in Public Service" Scholarship Award: Geannina Burgos is currently an evening student at FIU’s College of Law and the Chief Program Administrator for Arts Education & Outreach with the Thomas Armour Youth Ballet. She is the Vice-President of the Women’s Law Society, the 1L Representative of the Business Law Society and a member of the Christian Legal Society and the Hispanic Law Student Association at the College of Law. Ms. Burgos lives in Coral Gables with her husband of 6-years, Steven, and their twoyear-old daughter, Mikaela.

Pamela King is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at Barry University with a concentration in Leadership. Ms. King works for the Miami Dade Economic Advocacy Trust and volunteers for the American Cancer Society and Curley House of Style, a non-profit that operates a food bank to serve disadvantaged communities. She is a mother of four and a grandmother of three.
