The Ritz-Carlton, Okinawa Opens The hotel is set to be the torchbearer of Luxury Hospitality on Japan’s Secret Tropical Getaway. Restaurants include Chura-Nuhji – an Italian fine dining restaurant which takes its name from the Okinawan word for beautiful rainbow. The restaurant with its own outdoor terrace overlooking the sea and the golf course.

Kise, a Teppan-yaki restaurant will offer local seafood and renowned Okinawan, Kuroge and Wagyu beef. Teppan Chefs will create a sense of theatre in a relaxing environment. Kise will uniquely allow the warm personalities of the chefs to come through to surprise and delight guests as they explain their creations on the menu. Gusuku, an all-day dining experience that serves Japanese, Okinawan and international dishes with its outdoor waterside terrace. The restaurant will also serve a selection of tasting-style platters for guests to indulge in an elegantly designed space. Shop till you drop Dongmen Shopping District As its name of “Laojie” (meaning Old Street) suggests, Dongmen Shopping District was established centuries ago. Interested in shopping at dirt cheap prices, this district literally has a tonne of cheap technological products from rather dubious origins. So be forewarned. SEG Electronic Market The biggest electronics mall in Shenzhen, there is a large variety of genuine products across the different floors, which are divided accorded product category. Like Dongmen Shopping District above, be warned that means there’ll be a lot of hawkers out front determined to sell you their pirated ware ranging from software and laptops.
