I am currently a third year student pursuing my 5 year dual degree program (B.Tech + M.Tech) in Civil Engineering and specialization in Structural Engineering from the department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. RESERCH PROFILE (PROJECTS) 1. Analysis of a continuous beams using ‘Manual methods’ and ‘Staad Pro’ January 2012 - February 2012 Abstract: From long time continuous beams are analysis by manual methods but with the evolution of computer now new software are coming up and manual methods are reducing in practice. In this project I analysis continuous beams by manual method and by software ‘Staad Pro’ and then compare the results of two methods. Software used: Staad Pro Status: Completed

2. Cost Estimation and Design of a Township September 2012 - October 2012 Guide: Prof. N. Dhang, Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Kharagpur Abstract: This project was aimed to at designing a township and making its cost estimation. This project consist of designing of seven building with four and five, from these building and inculding other public place such as swimming pool, parks etc. I designed this township and did its cost estimation. 3. Designed a Robot using Differential Drive August 2010 – September 2010 Abstract: RoboCup, a robotix event conducted by Robotix Society of IIT Kharagpur in 2010. I created and designed a football playing robot by using differential drivers. This robot was in best robots of the event. Statue: Completed

Mechanical Workshop Process Skills Hands on experience in Welding (gas as well as arc), Foundry and Machining which covered application of machining processes like lathe, milling, turning, drilling, CNC, Gear Hobbing etc. The Mechanical laboratory courses have also covered practical topics like engineering drawing and 3D modelling, tool geometry, cutting forces and surface finish parameters, thread cutting, gear cutting, quality analysis and machine calibration.

Civil Engineering Principal analysis: Practical experimentation on topics like transportation engineering, Water resources engineering, Surveying, water and waste water engineering, concrete engineering and soil mechanics. These courses have touched a wide plethora of topics like Reinforced Concrete, solid mechanics, transportation engineering and water engineering. The experiments also require thorough knowledge of probability and statistics, calculus and real time simulation.


IIT-Joint Entrance Examination 2010: Ranked among top 1% from all the 4, 72,000 applicants. AIEEE 2010: Ranked among top 0.5% from 11, 18,148 applicants. Received a scholarship of 20,000 from Bansal Classes, Jaipur to pursue study for IIT-JEE. Received a full tuition fee waiver MCM-scholarship of 50,000 from Government of India.


Successfully completed the Workshop on “Alternative Construction and Disaster Response” organized by Kshitij, largest techno-management fest of Asia.
