LOCAL GOVERNMENT AWARD
Fingal County Council was awarded Best Practice in Citizen Engagement at the 2015 Chambers Ireland Excellence in Local Government Awards on November 12th 2015, in recognition of its Fingal Age Friendly Facilities initiative. The programme aims to inform older people about the value of their contribution to society and centres on empowering, enabling and facilitating older people to be active within and to benefit from community facilities.
