mpress is OpenOffice.org’s tool that’s akin to Microsoft’s PowerPoint. Using Impress, you can create presentations that consist of text, tables, charts, graphics and more. This chapter will get you started with Impress, and help you impress your bosses and colleagues with your presentation skills—pardon us, but we’re not the first, and will not be the last, to use that shameless pun!
