INTRODUCTION Prior to studying architecture, I had known that this is what I wanted to pursue: to become an architect. With very limited knowledge I have was a keen first year student ready to learn all that was waiting for me.

Throughout my time at The Nottingham Trent University, I have been exposed to many different learning process and design stages.

2017 was the year I was able to apply what I learned in architectural practises both in London and Dubai.

This is a portfolio of the work I am most pleased with. The most common software I used for these projects are: AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop.

MAKING CATALYST In the Lace Market of Nottingham, UK, lay a parking lot on High Pavement. Taking into consideration the history and wider context of the area, a pavilion ought to be made to act as a catalyst that ignites activity to the area.

For this project , I proposed a temporary structure made of local materials which incorporates leisure and time. The young, and not so young, are welcome to use the ball pits.

I achieved a 2.1 for this project.

HYBRID HOUSING There is a historical plot in Sneinton Market, Nottingham that is in need of regeneration using urban planning. For this project, I proposed a master plan and residential complex integrated with a public library, No long will this site segregate the public from the private realm, rather it will be come a place where both live together simultaneously.

I achieved a 2.1 for this project.

PRIVATE VILLA In December 2017, I was given the opportunity to get some work experience at an architecture firm called X-Architects in Dubai, UAE. I worked on a few projects, one of which was a private villa. I created some visuals for the schematic design.

The software I used to create these visuals is Photoshop after scanning sketches of the views.

TECHNICAL DETAILS & MODEL The first project for a module called Architectural Technology & Environment in third year, I had to construct a technical model with detail drawings for a part of my pavilion that I made for a corresponding module.

This project went hand in hand with my Comprehensive Design Studio module. I designed a pavilion which allows visitors to have a peculiar atmospheric experience.

I achieved a 2.1 for the Studio project and a 1st class for the Tech module.
