CONSUMPTION The creation of a piece that recognizes and deals with the phenomena in society of Black hair being appropriated instead of accepted. A sculpture that mocks the attempted commodification of Black hair by White bodies through the usage of a wire material that is sharp and staining to the touch, but pleasing to admire from a f a r. T h o u g h t h i s p i e c e w a s c r e a t e d f o r p u b lic consumption, it will never be consumed by those who do not have the knowledge to handle i t p r o p e r l y.

SANCTUARY A n a r c h i t e c t u r a l c o l l a g e o f a s a n c t u a r y, w i t h a directionality towards the surreal massif, envisioned for all the missing adolescent Black children whose names were slowly forgotten until they were never mentioned again. The geometrically diverse design of the folly utilizes the a r c h , a t r a n s c e n d e n t a l f e a t u r e o f r e l i g i o u s a rchitecture, and disrupts it with its cubic platf o r m s .
