The plaza is designed for a site with very steep topography. It is situated near a students housing and Athens transit.
Many students at UGA travel in Athens by transit buses almost every day. At times, they are compelled to wait long hours at the bus stop to catch connecting buses. The torture gets compounded during summer. Being a student of architecture , I’ve designed the site to anhance student’s sense of belonging, ownership and increased engagements. People plaza, therefore ids designed with facilities such as restaurants, retail stores, seating spaces, food trucks etc. so that residents and students hand around with posivities.
The plaza has easy accessibilty for eveyone. To tackle the grade change, different floors have been created in the plaza. The existing swale has been converted into a waterbody and rain garden which gives a pleasing and cooling effect in the surroundings.
The park is designed for a low income neighbourhood. It supports equity for the community. The park has elements for everyone in the society. Efforts have been made to minimise the cost of the project.
Community engagement activities were performed to include community in the design process.
The three entrances are designed to serve as plazas for the park. Due to limited budget, efforts have been made to minimise the total cost of the project by demolition of minimum elements, using low maintainence plants and trees, low cost materials etc.
Three separate entries are provided: public, semi-public and for offices. All the open spaces are connected to each other making pedestrian movement easier. Ramps have been provided for easy access for physically disabled. Each building has been given a separate open space.
Brownlee is the loft apartment designed for students. Site Solutions, landscape architecture firm was given the project to design the central open space for the loft.
It was designed in order to incorporate, open seatig spaces, informal seatings, film screen, food trucks and games.
Contribution: Worked on designing, 3D modelling, renderings, construction drawings.
Avenue East Cobb includes expanded restaurant, retail space, live music stage and public plaza. Site Solutions, Atlanta based landscape architecture firm was given the project to redesign the site with two “jewel box” buildings for outdoor patio.

The Crest Residence is a small residential project located in Delhi, India. I was required to design the interiors and grading plan for the site.
