Maty, a 6’ 2”, 195-pound senior quarterback at Kenton High, passed for seven scores in a 64–32 win over Bath High to eclipse his older brother Ben’s state record (178) with 181 career TD passes, four away from the national mark. A week earlier he broke the national career completions record, with 1,136 (now 1,156). A Missouri recruit, he is also No. 2 alltime nationally in career passing attempts (1,818) and passing yards (16,179) through Sunday, both behind his brother.
