Executive Message April 2010

Keep creating the demand! ASEA is a young company, but we are growing fast. So fast, in fact, that we’ve just moved our manufacturing to a new, 25,000 squarefoot facility. This means that we are able to produce far greater quantities of ASEA than our current demand. Our commitment stands: we will never be backordered. ASEA is now has shipping facilities in Salt Lake City, Atlanta, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. This allows us to get this amazing product quickly to Associates at the lowest shipping cost. So here’s what all of this means to you: Don’t hold back. You can keep all the promises you make to your customers and new Associates, because we keep our promises to you. ASEA will always be ahead of the game. We will do everything we can to create opportunities for the company to grow. Our commitment to your success is as strong as ever. Keep creating the demand; we’ll make sure the supply is always there!

Associate Leader Insight April 2010

Defining Moments When Alan Noble graduated with a degree in international finance, he was, in his own words, psychologically unemployable. “My classmates were excited about crunching numbers, but even with high-paying jobs, I couldn’t get excited about working in a cubicle,” he remembers. Alan felt lost, but he couldn’t quite put his finger on the fact that it was freedom he craved. His desires went beyond having a boss telling him when to show up, what to wear, where to sit, and when he could leave. “I didn’t realize that it was taking away my freedom,” he acknowledges. So he began to travel. By his mid-twenties, Alan had seen 50 countries. But it wasn’t until he read a book about network marketing that the light went on. “It’s the only book I’ve ever read cover to cover in one sitting,” he smiles. “I knew from that defining moment that this was what I wanted to do with my life.” Alan began to build. His organization started in Ireland, crept across Europe, and extended into the United States. But he found that the utopia of network marketing was getting harder and harder to find. The industry was overrun with mediocre products and lackluster management teams. Although he took his career to other paths, Alan still loved the concept of the network marketing. “The things I fell in love with were still true; I just couldn’t find the vehicle,” he says. Then came the day that Sue Brenchley told Alan about ASEA. “I had never heard of Redox Signaling molecules, and it became one of those moments you never forget,” he asserts. “You remember where you were, what you were wearing, and what day of the week it was because it’s a moment that shifts your life.” Five days later, Alan was on a plane to Salt Lake City. There he met with Verdis, James, and Dr. Samuelson. “They opened up a whole new world to me,” Alan recalls. “There was energy coming out of them. There was a sense of integrity, mission, and purpose.” Alan had found a breakthrough product and a solid company. For him, it was never about money, but something much more powerful. “The network marketer inside of me started waking up again, and I thought: You know what, Alan? I think this might be it.” Alan believes it can be hard to realize how rare an opportunity like ASEA is. “To find a product and a management team like this at a time in our economy when people are looking for ways to make additional income is astonishing,” he says. “I believe in the depth of my heart that we are witnessing the birth of a network marketing giant.” Alan is a Diamond building his ASEA business out of Dallas, where he lives with his wife and daughter.

Associate Leader Insight April 2010

Creating freedom When Rose Mary Skinner first came to the United States, it was as a refugee of war. The year was 1980, she was a teenager, and she was on the authorities’ list of people who were causing a stir in her home country of El Salvador. All she had done, in reality, was organize an initiative to build a community swimming pool. But that was enough for her to be seen as a mover and a shaker—and the day after she left was the day they came looking for her. Rose Mary’s escape was nothing short of a miracle. And her first impressions of the land of opportunity were nothing short of disappointment. “I thought the U.S. was going to be like what I had seen on The Jetsons,” she laughs. When she got here, she found the opposite. She went from having a nanny to being given a job as a nanny. “It made me even more hungry for freedom,” she explains. “To me the American Dream wasn’t about money; it was about freedom on every level.” So Rose Mary went to work. By 1982, she had become a skilled network marketer, even though that’s not what her father had envisioned for her. “He kept asking me why I didn’t get a real job,” Rose Mary remembers. At times, she did. She once went from doing janitorial work at a restaurant to managing it within two months. That’s the kind of mover and shaker she is. “I thought I could be the president of the country,” she says. Rose Mary has seen success after success in her network marketing career. Even so, ASEA stood out to her. “It’s what happens when preparation meets opportunity,” she explains. “The company had all the components. All it needed was a little momentum, and I knew I could provide that.” Only five months into her ASEA career, Rose Mary became Triple Diamond, and she had actually broken a Triple Diamond in her downline three weeks before she achieved it herself. She says it’s because there’s magic behind ASEA and because Associates are coming in with desire. “It’s that same hunger I had when I first came to the States,” she says. “We’re all creating freedom, whatever that freedom is.” Rose Mary is a Triple Diamond hard at work in North Ogden, Utah.

Associate Leader Insight April 2010

Persistence Equals Success Tim Blau is a former fighter jet pilot turned network marketer via the insurance industry. It may sound like an unlikely path, but to him, it’s the only one that made sense. “The Air Force was fun,” he says, “but I wasn’t getting anywhere financially.” So Tim got into the insurance industry, where he trained managers. “I was literally getting nothing for doing that. When I saw the ability to train managers and get paid continuously for it, it set me on this path.” The bottom line for Tim is that network marketing is the only place you can have the freedom of time and still expect to make CEO-style income. “I’ve seen it constantly over the years,” he affirms. “It just takes timing, product, and company.” With ASEA, Tim has found all three. After 31 years of success in network marketing, Tim knows how to spot an opportunity. “The number-one thing to me has always been product,” he says, “but one-A is management.” So when the management at company Tim was with began to crumble, Tim was open for a change. The first time he met with Verdis and Jim, Tim asked them some tough questions and was impressed with their candor. “They didn’t beat around the bush,” he recalls. “They told me their strengths, and admitted their weaknesses.” Tim was impressed that their egos were in check, and at their years of experience in the business world. As for the product, Tim had never seen anything like it. “It’s solid scientifically, and it has the patents—it’s not going to be copied,” he says. “There is no other company in our industry that can go toe to toe with ASEA.” Tim became an ASEA Associate less than three months ago. He hit the ground running with a goal to achieve Gold in 60 days, which he did. Even so, he doesn’t consider himself a recruiter. “I’m in the sorting business, not the recruiting business.” He explains, “I give every new Associate an assignment, then watch to see if they do it. That’s how I find those who are serious. The world is full of privates; I need generals.” Tim keeps his focus on the relationships he builds as he grows his ASEA business. “Although I want to affect everyone’s life, I know that I can’t. People have to make the decision for themselves.” As Tim sees it, some will join, some won’t. Some do it for financial reasons, others for health. But at the end of the day, he defines success as persistence, even in times of failure. His plan is to create thousands of millionaires. He concludes, “There’s nothing like making a living while making a difference.” Tim is a Gold Executive building a strong organization from his home in Mesa, Arizona.

Product Corner April 2010

How do you know that? Do you ever wonder just how we know about reactive molecules? Don’t underestimate the fact that ASEA is a scientific breakthrough. It is the only product harnessing the power of Redox Signaling molecules. But here’s just what that means. You already know that living cells produce reactive molecules. Using fluorescent dyes, these molecules have been successfully measured over the last 30 years. The reactive molecules in ASEA, produced only by a complex proprietary electrochemical process that reduces and oxidizes the base saline solution, have also been measured, and have been found to be stable— something that has never before been accomplished outside of the human body. Now for the cool part. The fluorescent indicators let us see that molecules physically change shape and brightness when they come into contact with specific reactive molecules. The change in fluorescence before and after exposure to these reactive molecules is then measured. Each of these indicators is sensitive to specific types of reactive molecules. All of these indicator dyes are very resistant to false positives and are very well studied. This process wasn’t done only once. It wasn’t just done to prove that we got the science right. ASEA uses the services of highly-trained analysts to routinely measure the amount of reactive molecules found in every batch of this amazing supplement. We test it over and over again. We don’t just know it. We promise it.

Cash for Cases Your chance to get Cash for Cases is still here, but not for long. April 30 is the last day to get an extra $50 for every four cases of ASEA you sell when enrolling a personally sponsored Associate. Those four cases can come any time during the month, so sell them all at once, or accumulate them one by one. Sponsor one person at the four-case level, two people at the two-case level, or four people at the one-case level. As long as it ends up being four cases, that $50 is on its way. As many times as you do it, you’ll get another $50 (and another, and another). But hurry—this is the last month. When April turns to May, Cash for Cases goes away!

30 Days to Double Your Director’s Bonus April is the last month you can take advantage of doubling your Director’s Bonus. Now is the time to sponsor new Associates and help them make it to Director within 10 days of joining ASEA. Each time you do, your Director’s Bonus goes from $50 to $100. The big-picture payoff is that this will help you stimulate growth in your organization. More Directors means higher commissions in the long run. It’s all about your success!
