An Invitation to Exhibit Dear Prospective Exhibitor: On behalf of the Architectural Engineering Institute’s (AEI) 2010 Annual Conference Steering Committee, you are cordially invited to exhibit at the AEI Annual Conference in Oakland, California, March 31 through April 1, 2011. The Steering Committee has diligently and energetically worked to develop a technical program that will be of interest to engineers, scientists, managers, planners, and academicians involved in building construction, architectural design, building operations, building management, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering, and education in any of the above. The Conference will bring together a diverse group of professionals, enhancing the opportunities to display and demonstrate your products and services to the right people. Why should you exhibit at the Conference on Architectural Engineering Practice? #1. You will receive a pre- and post-conference attendee list that includes engineers, scientists, managers, planners, and educators who are engaged in building design, construction and operation for the benefit of society in the U.S. and foreign countries. #2. An excellent technical program will draw key people from across the country. #3. Attendees will have an opportunity to see sessions on Architectural Engineering Education, Nonstructural Seismic Protection, Cladding, Case Studies, Facility Management, Wood Construction, Building Design Processes, Structural Systems, and Energy Efficiency/Sustainability. Most likely your products or services would offer solutions in one or more of these areas. #4. There are plenty of networking opportunities to meet new prospects and to catch up with your clients and associates. #5. If you are involved in any way with building design, construction and operation, exhibiting at this Conference is good business. I encourage you to ensure your company’s participation and exhibit or sponsor at the 2011 AEI Annual Conference in Oakland, California! If you have any questions, please contact Sean Scully at sscully@asce.org or 703-295-6154. See you in Oakland! Abe Lynn, Ph.D., Co-Chair Professor Architectural Engineering Department Cal Poly
