How Stars were created

Chapter 1 The universe began with a Big Bang, that from nothing created everything. Each one hundred substances that cannot be chemically come together or broken down into simpler substances and are primary constituents of matter. The first elements were hydrogen and helium. The three pieces of evidence was the universe was expanding, the universe was very hot, the elements started to mix and form other elements.


Chapter 2 As the cloud collapses, the material at the center begins to heat up. This hot core will one day become a star. Nuclear fusion is when the core of a star heats up the gamma rays bounce around and start going through the other layers. Stars are fueled by the fusion of hydrogen to form helium. Heat and pressure brings about these reactions deep in the interiors of stars. This creates outward pressure, which is necessary to keep the star from collapsing under its own weight.


Chapter 3 We get elements that are larger than Iron by the star exploding and going into a super nova or a nebula. The stars go into different elements because of heat and pressure to the star and putting all the pressure in the middle makes different elements all the way to Iron. A life cycle is different for each star an average star would turn into a red giant and then into a nebula, but there can be a massive star the turns into a super red giant, then it turns into a supernova.


Chapter 4 We can tell what elements are in a star by how bright they are means there are more elements in the star. The less bright the less elements inside the star. Sirius is the brightest star other than the sun.
