About me I am currently an architecture undergraduate student in De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. When it comes to Architecture, I believe that one must become a futurist. As Architects, we must think ahead and know the consequences of what our actions might bring. As Architects, we are always in flux. We do our research and our analysis of the past to create a projection in the present for futuristic purposes. We must also face the consequences of our actions and make sure to be aware of every decision we take.
Skills & expertise
Malate Urban Park The aim of the project was to create an urban green park as a solution on countering the effects of urbanization and revitalization in the area of Malate, Manila.
As our country has become more urbanized and cities contain more boxed walls than there are trees, it is high time that we prioritize the revival of urban greenery and how it will benefit the citizens and the city itself.
Las Pinas -Paranaque Critical Habitat The proposed project is a community which puts emphasis on accessibility by connecting the site to other communities to create an eco-tourism opportunity that would increase public awareness about the natural history of the site and therefore creating an identity to it.
PROGRAMS A NETWORK OF ELEVATED TRAILS WILL BE PROPOSED TO FORM A COMPLETE PEDESTRIAN SYSTEM.
PUBLIC OPEN SPACES ARE PROVIDED FOR SPONTANEOUS PROGRAMS. THE SITE WILL ALSO BECOME A DISTRICT WHERE PEOPLE CAN SHOP, PLAY AND RELAX. A WATER SYSTEM IS WELCOMED THROUGH ENGINEERED LANDFORM. IT WILL NOT ONLY PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR PROGRAMS BUT IT WILL ALSO BE A REFUGE FOR WILD SPECIES. URBAN AGRICULTURE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD BRINGS HEALTHY AND SUSTAINABLE FOOD ACCESS TO NEEDED POPULATIONS. GREEN SPACE WILL BE MAXIMIZED TO PROMOTE WALKING AND EXERCISING TO CREATE A MORE HEALTHIER PLACE IN GENERAL. THE SITE WILL CREATE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE PUBLIC TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE NATURAL AND ECOLOGICAL HISTORY OF THE SITE AND MIGHT CREATE PUBLIC AWARENESS FOR THE MIGRATORY BIRDS.
