Resume Arturo Morfín Mendizábal (Mexico DF, May 13 1989) Academic Associate in Music of the London College of Music Participant of the Program for strenghtening young composers in the area of electroacustic music “Prácticas de Vuelo” 2013 imparted by the CMMAS (Centro Mexicano para la Música y las Artes Sonoras). Currently studying Music Composition at CIEM (Centro de Investigación y Estudios de la Música) in Mexico City. Preparing to aquire the Licenciate qualification in Music Composition and Music Theory of the London College of Music. Remarcable teachers include Marií Antonieta Lozano, José Julio Díaz Infante, Enrico Chapela, Esteban Chapela and Miguel Salmon Del Real. Participant in workshops with Irvine Arditti, Beatriz Elena Martínez and the Quinteto de Alientos de la Ciudad de México. Concerts GLASYA – LABOLAS for percussion (Iván Manzanilla) and electronics within the 41 Festival Internacional Cervantino in Guanajuato, México. This work has also been selected for the Foro Internacional de Música Nueva Manuel Enríquez 2014. Eta Carinae for piano solo (Luis Jesús Ramírez Padilla) at Brandon University in Manitoba, Canadá.
