ward-winning impressionist artist Karen Rolfes creates whimsical works inspired in her natural surroundings. Her skillful use of color with palette knife application of the pigment directly onto the canvas ads drama and a theatrical effect to her works. With a thriving artistic career that expands for over seventeen years, Karen has produced a remarkably diverse portfolio of works influenced by her emotional experiences. Her paintings depict natural elements including landscapes, waterscapes and domestic animals in a hypnotic palette of vibrant colors and simultaneous contrast.
