“Live your life by the dream in your heart and not the fear in your head”. With The International ARTS Talent Showcase 2019 being such a HUGE SUCCES, I am reminded how important the above quote is to live by. South Africa has an abundance of talented individuals whom are held back, because they allow their fear to lead them instead of their dreams. As I look back at all that has taken place since our last ARTS Dreamcatcher was released, I am in awe at the fearlessness of so many artists that I have had the privilege of knowing and Managing. In July we as a Team embarked with a group of brave, talented and passionate individuals to the USA to showcase their talent in front of International Casting Directors, Managers, Record Producers and Talent Scouts. South Africa absolutely DOMINATED and the proof is in the results. South Africa walked away with awards such as: multiple Scholarships to study at The New York Film Academy, Overall Top Performer, Overall Top Fashion Model, Top Five in Fashion Runway, Theme Runway, Improv, TV Commercial, Monologue and Overall Top Actor. It was an absolutely amazing experience seeing once again how well South Africans excel on an International Stage! Now we start a new journey with new artists chasing their dreams and leaping into an opportunity as big as The International Talent Showcase without hesitation. It was an honor for us to welcome Joey Hunter International Talent Scout for IMTA to South Africa for the first time this year as well as International Superstars, Nate Butler, Blaze Johnson and Rhavynn Drummer and Joey Zingardi-Dickson. The Face of ARTS Africa has sky-rocketed in the Media recently with our Top 100 contestants being announced. TV, Radio and Newspapers have all been mentioning various artists that are competing for the title of The Face of ARTS Africa. With it nearing the end of the year and I look back on all that has been achieved in 2019 so far, I feel humbled and blessed to know that this is another step in our journey and we will be growing bigger and better as each day passes.
