Qiu Jie is perhaps one of the most intriguing contemporary Chinese artists alive today. Creating pieces with the simplest of tools - pencil on paper - he travels through his cross-cultural background to provide a singular iconography of idols and stylistic references, which he arranges in a unique narrative voice.
