STUDY ABROAD: One of ten Fashion Institute of Technology students accepted to study abroad at Nottingham Trent University, England. During my time in Nottingham I was able to see the design process in Europe, giving me some global insight.

FIRST PLACE: FIT SENIOR DESIGN EXHIBITION

BREAKWATER DESIGN / Bridgehampton, New York Freelance Graphic Designer / September 2007 - October 2007

My Senior thesis, �Lunch Money� tied for first place in the FIT Graduating Senior Exhibition. A semester long project, with the final works of all students judged by a juried panel of design professionals.

At BreakWater Design I worked with the Senior Designer, Art Director and Principal to create posters for the food and beverage company Aramark. They were displayed at the University of Pennsylvania to advertise the university's dining hall, and other related special events.

ON MONTUAK / Montuak, New York Freelance Graphic Designer / April 2008 - July 2008 While freelancing at On Montauk magazine I worked closely with the editor to create advertisements for clients. In addition to designing for the magazine, I was given the amazing opportunity to write a piece on the nightlife section which was featured in the Summer 2007 issue.

RELATED EXPERIENCE: VERED GALLERY / East Hampton, New York While in High School I interned at an East Hampton fine art gallery. At Vered I Framed works, hung exhibitions, and helped with clerical work.

CHRIS CLASSENS CONTRACTING / EAST HAMPTON, NEW YORK Throughout my life I have worked in my fathers roofing company. The experience of working in the trades has helped shape me as a designer. The parallels between building and designing are abundant and I have taken so many valuable lessons from this occupation into my design work.
