CUMMINGS & MCCRADY INTERN ARCHITECT Developed and structured a BIM template to be utilized on future projects. Organized and designed multiple national and state award submittals. Prepared qualification documents for several state and local projects.

2012-2013

CLEMSON UNIVERSITY GRADUATE ASSISTANT Collaborated with a team of PhD students in designing a prototype of Assistive Robotic Table (ART) Designed the digital model and detailed the critical connections of the first prototype. Constructed and assembled the initial prototype using CNC technology and metal fabrication.

May 2011 Lancaster, SC County Courthouse 100,000 sf $ 25, 000 000 Stevens and Wilkinson I was the primary intern architect on the project, and was involved from the concept presentations to the client, schematic design renderings, analog model construction, construction documents, LEED submissions, shop drawings review to the final punch lists. project delivery: CM at Risk. This was the first project at S&W to be completed and built using Revit. Responsible for BIM management for the project.

LAKE CAROLINA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NEW BUILDING DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION

August 2013 Columbia, SC Elementary school k-5 120,000 sf $ 25,000, 000 Stevens and Wilkinson I joined the team during Design Development, and was asked to develop analog model for marketing purposes, my involvement continued through the Construction Documents and I coordinated with structural engineers in developing canopy details, as well as designing and specking the tensile canopies, and a photo-voltaic canopy. I was responsible in developing the window and curtain wall details on this project, as well as doing a code review and complying the building with the OSF requirements. project delivery: Bid-Build process. Modeled fully in Revit, including MEP.

publishing software: Adobe Indesign rendering software: Google Sketchup, Autodesk Revit, Adobe Photoshop involvement: Good marketing material is an important tool in the chest of every architect. I have extensive experience with analog models, graphic design layout and graphic template development. My primary software for digital modeling renderings are Revit and Skethup due to their quick turn around, however both do require extensive Photoshop post processing.

Fall 2012 Rob Silence A chair As a product design exercise the task was to design and build chair in the course of the semester. To address the issue of sustainability the chair I designed and built utilized recycled wood, and a small amount of high recycle content steel. The wood was reused from the Saltworks project, milled down to smaller pieces. Steel frames were welded together out of 1/2� square rod. In addition to sustainability a theme within my project is multiple use. My design provides a double height stool, that can be utilized at different occasions in different situations.
