The main aim of our project, “North- South Connection: Partnership for a more just world between European and African schools” was - 1. to improve the sensitivity and critical understanding of global problems among high school students
2. to promote their active engagement in addressing these issues with a specific focus on MDGs
3. to integrate global issues into the formal education system by developing global school partnerships between European and African schools.
This guidebook is based on the 2-year experience and provides participating teachers with the main theoretical and methodological basis on how to use school partnerships to integrate the global dimension in the teaching as well as specific suggestions for joint activities for each Millennium Development Goal.
