ALEXANDROS ROTAS My name is Alexandros Rotas. I come from Greece and more specifically from Naxos and Samos, two beautiful islands in the Aegean Sea. I have had English lessons since I was in the second class of Primary school. I have passed the ECCE and in two or three years I’ll take exams in the Proficiency exams. However, I don’t really like English. That’s why it takes me so much time to study English. On the other hand, learning English gives you the opportunity to communicate with others all over the world. That’s why I’m doing English.
MARGARITA POURNARA My name is Margaret and I am thirteen years old. I am from Greece and I live in Athens. I really like English. Except for school, I’ve also learnt English from movies and series I watch in English, or songs I listen to. I use the language to understand the lyrics, to read magazines, etc. For example, I have started watching ‘Glee’ on TV with subtitles, but it stopped being shown on the regular program, I had to watch it on the Internet, without subtitles, so I learnt English better. These are some reasons why I like English.
