Mariana Rodríguez Iglesias, curadora de la exhibición, afirma en las páginas del catálogo: “Si el paisaje es la extensión del terreno que se ve desde un sitio, las obras de Benedetti son un panorama generoso, un territorio de aproximación a lo conocido-desconocido”.

La mirada errante, an anthological show of work by Ana Benedetti (Salta, 1979), was held in the framework of the project “Salteños en el MAC [Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Salta].” The exhibition consisted of the last ten years of the artist’s production (paintings, drawings, objects, and installations) on the landscape genre. In the exhibition catalogue, Mariana Rodríguez Iglesias, the show’s curator, writes, “If landscape is the breadth of terrain seen from one place, Benedetti’s works are an ample panorama, a terrain from which to approach the known and the unknown.” ENG
