PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE I want to start 2016 by wishing FCCRWF members and their families a Happy New Year! I hope you had a blessed and restful Christmas holiday because the election season has begun. We need everyone to help elect Republicans in November—just imagining a Hillary Clinton presidency causes me to lose sleep! As local primary campaigns are beginning, I would like to explain a few FCCRWF policies. First, Republican Women clubs are not fundraisers for the Republican Party. FCCRWF has the primary responsibility of raising sufficient money each year to fund the programs, goals and obligations of the club. Individual FCCRWF members are free to contribute to candidates; however, the club itself cannot make monetary donations to candidates. Another policy is that FCCRWF and the FCCRWF president do not endorse during the primary when there is more than one Republican running for the same office. There are a few exceptions, but that is the general rule. I will try my hardest to be fair to all the candidates and give them equal time and access to the FCCRWF membership. Of course, club members are free to endorse and campaign for their favorite candidates and I encourage you to do so. When endorsing, please do not use the name FCCRWF; you are endorsing under your name only. continued
