“My most important sources of inspiration can both be internal, like emotions, the subconscious and dreams or the external environment with experiences, anecdotes and the human society & life. Currently I am working mostly with acrylics. My focus is on strong, expressive and sometimes also metallic colours. I prefer working on wood. Each piece of it has its own story, its own charm and presence. Lumber like bamboo and spruce are my favourites, earlier I also often worked with ply wood. Instead of a classic frame I use Aluminium. It gives them a stronger impression to the viewer.” Manuel SÜESS (Switzerland)
