Early Shift Neon-orange sirens are fixed in the gable of a disused factory building where a clock used to be. They sound the beginning and the end of every shift, just as they did when the factory was operational. But instead of sounding on the local time, sirens of different tones and pitches are calibrated to mark off the shift changes as they occur in China, Singapore and Taiwan. They are an echo of work, calling attention to Ĺ asztownia seemingly from the places to which the industry has migrated that used to be here.
