Handbook

Enclosed with this newsletter is our 2011 handbook with a list of services and revised guide prices. If any member wishes to charge different rates, they must make it known to the job arranger at the time of booking, Where there is a lower to a higher price, the lowest price will always be used unless the supplier states differently. This year the price of fuel has had a huge effect due to the ever increasing prices. Since harvest when the average was 54p per litre, with a high of 67p per litre in December and presently in the mid to high 60p bracket, a 25% rise. This coupled with the rise in labour costs over the last year has given the board no option but to approve a 5-10% increase on our guide prices. Below is a table showing what the cost of fuel alone is per hour at various consumption levels.
