Baptism at St. Martin’s School On Wednesday 7th November Reverend Green came to St. Martin’s School to baptise lots of ‘babies’. The children in Class 1 & 2 were so enthusiastic to learn about the baptism service they brought in their baby dolls to take part in the service. The children were taken on a journey through the baptism service discussing the importance of each part. They understood that at their Baptism a person, child or baby has their past wiped clean and that they are becoming part of Jesus’ family. Then the children brought their dolls to be baptised and each had a mother, a father and godparents. The role of each of these people in the baby’s Christian life was explained.
