Day 1 What to do in... EARLY RISER Head up to Picnic Point, take a bush walk, watch the sunrise over Tabletop and hear the birds singing their dawn chorus. FUEL UP FOR A FUN DAY Find one of the many cafés offering sumptuous breakfasts. Then stroll around the CBD laneways and discover the incredible street art. Finish your walk by perusing the collections at the local Art Gallery. 10AM - DISCOVER GLORIES PAST Head around to the Cobb+Co museum through the picturesque camphor laurel-lined streets adorned with glorious century-old homes. You’ll discover one of Australia’s best collections of original horsedrawn carriages — plus a whole lot more. 1PM - JUST A STROLL IN THE PARK After a truly satisfying lunch, walk off your indulgences through the vast expanse of Queens Park. There are 25 hectares of tree-lined avenues, playgrounds, grassy picnic areas, seasonal bloomings and the must-see Botanic Gardens. 3PM - DID SOMEONE SAY SHOPPING? The CBD is home to an amazing array of shopping delights, and Grand Central is the new centrepiece. Antiques, jewellery, clothing, souvenirs and more. 5PM - A GLAMOROUS EVENING Enjoy some fine dining followed by a show at the fabulously restored art deco Empire Theatre.
