Who Are Ya? Didn’t really stand out for Ponferradina in last seasons play offs, but has been a solid signing for CDT. Normally a holding midfielder, he has nailed a centre back slot with strong consistent performances. Despite being just short of 30 years old in the summer, Carlos was given a two year contract and he is already repaying that faith. Playing in the backwaters of the Segunda B our new boy started out with home town club Baza and went onto Granada. His most interesting stint was two seasons in North Africa with UD Melilla the furthest flung team in our league, and you think CDT have to travel a lot. Carlos showed his power and control in the air with a tasty glancing header at home to Deportivo and is featuring more now at set pieces. The partnership with Bruno works well but last week he also found a good understanding with Rigo. Hopefully the old man of the squad can lead us up the table to safety and pass on his experience to the younger players.

a 0-0 draw. Always better to win but Soria is a difficult ral enoughto with visit and the snowy conditions were not exactly "Tenerife-esq". El Gene place So fair play to the players recently, the defence has improved and now I did not see last weeks match against Numancia, but I was happy
of course we have that spark of genius up front called Ayoze Perez. Hands off the likes of Arsenal and Real Madrid that have been watching from the main stand! Today’s opponents Real Jaen have improved recently themselves after looking like relegation fodder early in the season and they had a great 3-0 win against Zaragoza last weekend. This league is strange though. Deportivo now look the real deal after a shaky start (and we played them off the pitch not one month ago) but who else looks that good? And so to the derby. After much speculation the game will be played on the Wednesday 4th December at 8pm. Why the game could not be switched to the 5th Dec (with the 6th being a public holiday) is sheer stubbornness by the powers that be in Madrid. They don't care about us all the way down here!! On 15th December several members of Armada Sur will be taking part in the "Walk for Life" in aid of charity. More details next time. Enjoy it today. Onwards and Upwards!

Bob Gant I still have the money raised from the T-Shirts last season (over 500€). It has been suggested that I do the walk for life in December to top it up before finally donating the money to AMATE and AECC. Is everybody OK with this? Anthony Cracknell A great charity to give the money to Chris Todd I will join you on the walk-perhaps after we can go to Suters everyone to watch CDT. Anthony Cracknell Sounds a good idea, i will join in the walk if you do not mind to. Nikki Leadbeater Gaze Sounds good I will be working so can't join but will find some sponsorship money Colin Kirby Good idea - I noticed that the walk doesnt clash with a home game this season. I will be doing the walk for various reports. Bob Gant OK, the more the merrier. We can bring the flag. Jess Longhurst-Gant Get the buckets to the ready x Robert E Pearce What they for to soak his feet in after the walk...lmao David Thorley Great idea!
