Sparkill Steakhouse serves the best porterhouse steak, which is aged to perfection, and the best Colorado lamb chops and filet mignon bone-in. “Our wine list is the best for 100 miles around, and our wines are priced at the lowest possible price,” said Carlo Cungu, sommelier and owner of Sparkill Steakhouse along with his partner, Sal Derguti. “We have over 200 varieties of red wine and 16 different wines by the glass. We are always having wine tastings in our wine cellar, which holds a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 20.” Sal added, “Carlo and I worked together for years at the legendary Spark’s Steakhouse in Manhattan. We wanted to bring a big city steakhouse to the Hudson Valley, and we succeeded. You never know who you’ll see at our famed Steakhouse when they dine here. Celebrities and actors frequent us.
