Three general “building block prototypes were formed based on the maximizing efficiency of residential units within a double-loaded plan while allowing for outdoor spaces for groups of units. These building blocks were twisted and stacked to create a range of views around the site. In addition, the building blocks were shifted to create shared gardens at an elevated level. The placement of these gardens on the edges of the structures maximizes views of the city and the rest of the site and the gardens are designed to appeal to the diverse group of residents.
