The course will be taught at your local centre.
What qualifications do I need to enrol on this course? Potential students will require either one Higher in a relevant subject (minimum C pass) plus two Standard Grades (usually English and Maths) or a relevant NC qualification of at least twelve credits. Mature students will be considered based on relevant work experience and interview. Students studying individual units will need to satisfy the entry requirements of their chosen unit.
Can I study any units as continuous professional development? Both PDA Office Administration (4 units) and PDA IT in Business (3 units) are available within this course and can be studied on an evening-only basis. Alternatively, any of the course units can be studied on a part-time basis.
How can I continue to develop my skills? After successfully completing this course you will be able to progress to HND Administration and Information Technology.

Do you want to enhance your career prospects with a recognised qualification in Administration and Information Technology? Do you want to work towards a qualification which will enable you to study further at HND or even degree level? If yes, then this course may well be the right course for you. You may be a school leaver looking to study for a future career. You could already be working in the world of Administration and Information Technology but looking to improve your skills. Or you may be a more mature student wishing to change career direction and return to study. Taught over one year full-time and 2 years part-time, the course will help you develop and improve your skills and gain confidence and practical experience in the many and varied areas of Administration and Information Technology.

Databases for Business
Personal Development Planning
Administration and Information
Recording Financial Transactions
You will also be able to study further in other areas which may interest you specifically – Information Technology, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Personal Enterprise Skills and Financial Accounting Software.
