Gather these flowers into a bouquet for a lovely Mother’s Day or grandparent’s gift. Also try precutting the petals and invite children to draw pictures on each petal. You can also paint the crepe yourself in any pattern or color with diluted acrylic paints. TRY THIS
Cut a piece of white double-sided crepe 3 folds wide and paint freeform shapes, lines, and dots with kid’s watercolor palette. Glue a spun-cotton bud to the tip of a 9" (23cm) length of stem wire and paint with watercolors. Set aside to dry. ADD COLOR
Grain runs with height; all dimensions are given as H × W. Cut a 1½" × 9" (4cm × 23cm) strip from the yellow/melon double-sided crepe. Using the fringing scissors, fringe, with the grain, ¾ of the way down. Petal #104: Cut 4 from the painted white double-sided crepe. Leaf #105: Cut 1 from the black paper. Punch a hole in the tip. Cut a 4" (10cm) length of chenille pipe cleaner. CUT
