Crop Circle Family Types The Andrews Crop Circle Catalog system was established in 1983. Each crop pattern is assigned a specific “T” number. I have included designs for all of the crop formations I have investigated during my research over the years, be they authentic or man-made. The designs are not all drawn to scale, although many are. Some patterns have appeared many times in various countries, crop types, and seasons. As this Catalog developed it became clear that the 1000’s of formations also fit into groupings I call “families”, meaning that they attempt to communicate a similar theme, message, or thought-form.
