Ms Bennett completed her studies with us as the end of the 2010 academic year, and graduated with the Master of Architecture degree in 2011. Ms Bennett performed at the level of Distinction or High Distinction in the majority of her subjects in the undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, and with one exception, at High Distinction level in all of her subjects in the postgraduate Master of Architecture degree.

Ms Bennettâ€™s strengths undoubtedly lay in her commitment to and demonstration of excellence in a variety of design projects. At the completion of her course, Ms Bennett was the outstanding student of the year, receiving the highest WAM (Weighted Average Mark) overall, and was the recipient of a number of Australian Institute of Architect prizes, winning the UTS Masters Graduate of the Year Prize, and the Construction and Practice Prize while being nominated for the History and Theory Prize. Ms Bennett was recently also nominated for the 2011, Student Architects Medallion, the most significant award a student can obtain in NSW. Ms Bennett was an outstanding student, not simply on the basis of her own high academic performance but as a contributor both to the school and to her colleagues, by virtue of her ongoing engagement in the discussions and debates that are a major part of the School, and her significant mentoring role with younger students.
