HEY KEY CLUBBERS!
WHAT A YEAR
This newsletter will be my last newsletter ever for Arcadia Key Club :( I hope you enjoyed reading what our club has been up to this past year. This month we elected our new board and I’m very excited to pass on my position to Charisse Liu!! Anyways, back to the month of Febuary. A very memorable month for sure. From electing our new board to the Chinese Lantern Festival. I would like to thank all the volunteers who took the time to wake up early and volunteer with us. I am excited to see what the new board will have in store after the old board retires. Next month, some of Arcadia Key Club will be attending DCON in Reno, NV. Stay tuned for the crazy and adventerous things that happen there. Goodbye readers (to anyone who reads these ILY HAHA)! SEALY out.

AMIGOS DE LOS RIOS? Amigos de los rios is a non-profit organization committed to protecting and restoring open space in the urban environment . WHERE DID WE VOLUNTEER? On Febuary 3rd many went to the Peck Road Water Conservation Park and on Febuary 17th, we went to the Whittier Narrows Recreation Park. The whole idea is to bring the community together, go outside and work to preserve nature. From planting trees to pulling weeds, we did it all.
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!! Arcadia Key Club attended the Chinese Lantern Festival on March 3rd. We helped with the general event and provided assistance, when needed. There were many different booths that had face painting, caligraphy and other fun crafts perfect for kids and adults. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped out with event. It was a very first and this event was an eye opener to what is outside the “Arcadia everyday life. After volunteering, there were many opportunities to just travel all around Los Angeles and adventure through all the historic landmarks. -Victoria Carlos , NE
