EU Collective Plays ! core activity is the creation of new plays which are the result of a collaboration of playwrights of different nationalities and of the clash between art and social feed-backs, individual creativity and community stimuli. The playwrights meet, also virtually, and cooperate to create narrative structures which are organic but at the same time incorporates different perspectives, styles, strategies, languages and idioms. The result of each artistic process in a playwriting collective is the creation of an inclusive, polyphonic play. EU Collective Plays! is also community and education oriented also cares for the enhancement of transnational theatre groups valorising the communities involvement. Because of the inclusive, polyphonic, dimension of the approach (mix of pop and cultured elements narrated by different languages and idioms, creative actions and synergy with audience ), the activities impact strongly on the artistic, cultural and social dimension of the contexts where they are implemented and developed, echoing beyond Partnership’s boundaries.

TEATRO STABILE DELLE ARTI MEDIOEVALI The Teatro Stabile delle Arti Medioevali is the organizing company of "Quartieri dell'Arte" the main Italian new writing Festival, annually held in the Viterbo area and in Rome, run and conceived by a curating team led by Italian playwrights Gian Maria Cervo and Alberto Bassetti. The QdA Festival has received international recognition for its own activities, the performance of the Italian, European and World Premieres of works by some of the most important Italian and international playwrights and the staging of unperformed or rare ancient plays ("Edward III", recently attributed to William Shakespeare, had its Italian language premiere at the Festival in 1998). TSAM valorizes playwrights by staging their plays in venues which are renowned for their beauty (Medieval and Reinassance masterpieces such as the Palazzo Farnese, Caprarola, the Palazzo dei Priori, the Popes' Palace and several former churches in Viterbo as well as traditional theatres and unusual natural and industrial spaces) caring for audience’s involvement through participatory processes and transdisciplinary practices. Its theatre actions aim not only at confronting but also at integrating dramatic and postdramatic elements and at investigating and experimenting new "hybrid" playwriting strategies with social and community impacts.

PRIME CUT PRODUCTIONS Prime Cut Productions is a theatre company and a registered charity, governed by a Board of 7 directors, with 3 full-time and 2 part-time members of staff. Based in Belfast, Prime Cut is one of NI’s leading theatre companies with 3 separate and distinct strands of work. PCP delivers an Artistic Programme of two professional productions annually of the finest international drama featuring casts and creative teams of the highest quality. Since 1992 Prime Cut have produced critically acclaimed NI Premieres from countries as diverse as France, Canada, Chile and Russia. The Education Development Programme supports the development of NI theatre through the provision of the finest International training for NI Artists including REVEAL - which supports new work, international theatre exchanges, skills training, new writing commisions and mentorship for emerging NI artists. Through the Community Engagement Programme provides year-round opportunities for access to and participation in the arts for young people, older people, disadvantaged people and people from minority groupings and hard to reach communities. Prime Cut aims driving forward the development of new mechanisms for professional theatre practice in Northern Ireland with particular reference to polyvoval playwrighting technique.


Royal Theatre Zetskidom continues the tradition of theater Zetski dom, founded in 1884, the oldest theater in Montenegro. Royal Theatre Zetskidom and CNP is the only state theater in Montenegro. Repertory corresponds with contemporary theatrical forms and expressions with a special emphasis on fostering Montenegrin cultural heritage. In addition to appearing on the Montenegrin scene, the plays are performed at international theaters and festivals. Theatre develops also concert activities, operas, publishing, education programs, and festivals. Royal Theatre Zetskidom, as a theater producer engages prominent artists from Montenegro and abroad. Royal Theatre promotes the MIT (Montenegro International Theatre) Festival. The idea of this festival is based on cultural interplay with the public and communities, as well as the integration of different modes of artistic aesthetics, developing awareness among young people about the urban, intellectual and creative life, with special emphasis on theatre strategies. Diversity of programs, international cooperations, promotion and attracting audiences, valorisation and recognition of new, young talents, revitalization spirit of the city through culture, art and dance, are the main features of the MIT Festival and Royal Theatre vision.

LA GRAMIGNA La Gramigna is a non-profit cultural association.It was founded in 2006 with the aim to realise cultural and social projects on a national and international level. The Association is involved in a several number of projects which are focused on: learning and creativity for children and youth, socialisation opportunities, initiatives pertaining to the educational system. The association cooperate with the public institutions in the organisation and the realisation of Fantacity festival (, one of the most important events dedicated to imagination and creativity for young people and educators. The Festival has been promoted by the Umbria Region, the Province of Perugia, the Municipality of Perugia, University of Perugia, and sponsored by several Ministry and the Unicef. The Association has been Applicant for CREA - Creative Cities for Youth Active Citizenship, a Youth in Action Project (11/2011- 04/2013), a model experience in the creative-based approach for youth growth. La Gramigna focuses on dialogue, democracy and active citizenship, to know and understand each other, feeling the diversity as an opportunity for exchange and mutual enrichment.

LA FURA DELS BAUS La Fura dels Baus is the most important and famous Spanish theatrical group founded in 1979 in Barcelona, known for their urban theatre, use of unusual settings and blurring of the boundaries between audience and actor. According to a 1985 review of a their London performance, published in NME, the group "creates a kind of adult adventure playground of fun, danger, slapstick and fantasy". From experimental periods of the end of 70' to the high techological and fantastique shows of the last decade, La Fura is became a real point of reference for the theatre and for all kind of action connected to creativity and culture. La Fura dels Baus is moreover a company in continuing research. It is a self researched company that has worked for 35 years in many different disciplines: street theater, theater of action, opera, film, installations, macro-shows, performances, etc. preserving its DNA and very particular aesthetic. Moreover La Fura has been articulating, over 25 years and adapting to different participants, different teaching experiences aiming to renew the stage languages. The relation of La Fura dels Baus has with teaching and education is a crucial point. Started in 1989, on invitation of L’ Institut del Teatre of Barcelona, in the framework of its program of new theater trends, the company has now achieved through Ăˆpica the status of art-based educational organisation.

KHIO The Oslo National Academy of the Arts is Norway's largest college of higher education in the field of arts, with over 550 students, 200 employees and more than 900 guest teachers and teachers on shortterm contracts, all of whom are leading practitioners in their own discipline. The Oslo National Academy of the Arts currently offers 24 study programmes, and consists of six departments: Design, Art and Craft, The Academy of Fine Art, The Academy of Dance, The Academy of Opera, and The Academy of Theatre. Under the umbrella of the academic activities KHIO organises The Oslo International Acting Festival (OIAF), an international arena for artistic research and development on acting methods, aesthetics and performative approaches. KHIO is mainly involved through the its branch Academy of Theatre Since its founding in 1953, the Academy of Theatre has been Norway’s leading educational institution for the acting professions. The Academy offers a three-year Bachelor’s course for actors and directors and a two-year Master’s course in theatre, specialising in acting, direction, stage writing and stage design. The department also offers a practice-oriented teacher training course (PPU) for drama teachers.

FORTERESSE Founded in 2010, FORTeRESse is a non profit association whose aim is the creation, production and dissemination of artistic and pedagogical projects in various disciplines of the arts and culture. President of the association is a well known scientist, equally passionate by science and arts: Professor Pascal Kienlen-Campard is a lecturer and a researcher at UCL (Université Catholique de Louvain). The association is directed by Anna Romano – actress, director and author, member of SACD. The debut of La FORTeRESse goes back to the spring 2011 with the monologue “Sex politex: conférence sérieusement comique pour une correcte éducation sexuelle des plus jeunes” which married theatre to educational material for pre-adolescents. The monologue toured in secondary schools with great success. Between 2012 and 2018 FORTeRESse has created and coordinated severall pedagogical projects aimed at educating and training pupils and disadvantaged groups through theatre and arts disciplines. The association works with playwrights and artists of different cultures, mainly from non-European countries, developing collective-based approach to writing and caring for the playwriting of texts which absorbe social and communities cries

FOPSIM FOPSIM (Foundation for the Promotion of Social Inclusion in Malta) has an extensive experience in EU projects with specific expertise in training and education, in the organising workshops, seminars and conferences, conduction of field-work and project research. As to the cultural and creative side, the Foundation cares for enacting performances, exhibitions and community-based activities matching art and social inclusion. Having particular attention to the aspects of capacity building, transfer of good practices, FOPSIM is interested in maximizing the community involvement processes, making of art activities inclusive contexts and environments with main target groups as unemployed disadvantaged people, disabled persons, youth, elders. In its cultural mission and creative vision diversity and gender equality are two crucial aspects. In its education - art mix approach, efforts include multidisciplinary sessions for practitioners, research and cross-country analysis, media innovative strategies.
