When it comes to the printing, wedding invitations, there are different basic printing types. 1. Engraved – This style sets the letterings to be raised, extensive but expensive. 2. Thermographed – This is a new method of engraving but cheaper like the engraved ones. 3. Computer printed – As the name implies, fonts and letterings are printed thru a computer printer and you can choose from the different fonts available. 4. Photocopied – This is simple a copy, not raised or embossed and not good for wedding invitations. This is a great way to formally invite guests and make sure that they can attend to the reception. It is very impolite to invite a guests to the wedding ceremony only and not to the reception too. They might think that some guests are more important to entertain than the others. Another important thing to think about is the response card. Usually, guests forgot to sign their names on the response card. For you to keep track of who responded and who did not make a list of your guests with their corresponding number. Number the envelop by marking it in pencil at the corner of each response card. This will make it easy for you to track guests. If you get a response card without a name on it, you can quickly note where it came from by looking at the number. These are just some of the basic wedding invitation etiquette that every couple must follow. These are not hard to follow. By knowing the dos and don’ts, you are keeping yourself from the wedding chaos.
