Expansion Plans In Place For Build A Spa Following an unprecedented surge in interest for hot tubs, Hartlepool-based manufacturer Build A Spa have announced big plans for the future which start with the November opening of their first showroom in the town, plus a further new showroom for south Wales in the new year. The staff owned business boasts a production capacity of 2,500 spas per year with the whole manufacturing and assembly process taking place in the UK from a vast 40,000 ft² Head Office and production facility. Within the Build A Spa factory, production and assembly encompasses a wide range of processes – something the company are immensely proud of – and thanks to continued growth, manufacturing will be further enhanced during a two week shutdown in January through the installation of a 20,000 ft² mezzanine floor, new trimming machine and robotic machinery for the manufacturer of cabinets. This will create an impressive production capacity to encompass a wholesale arm of the business, headed up by Business Development Manager Paul Richards. As the business continues to grow on the back of its quality, it’s clear to see that the marketplace is hungry for British-made products and Build A Spa will continue to align its core values and products’ in a way that will furnish the marketplace with an unrivalled and affordable range. In 2021, the business will commence its national satellite growth strategy, furthering the products reach nationwide. The company currently has two products available to the wider market – their Zeus and Nemesis models. With a wide array of acrylic from industry giants Lucite and Aristech, they are able to offer over 20 different colours plus dozens of custom extras. Superior Spas Expand Both At Home And Abroad Superior Spas continue to grow both at home and in Europe and have expanded their export team with the addition of Amaury Maeder (pictured above) as Export Sales Manager. Based in Strasbourg, Amaury will be focusing on the Scandinavian market and has joined with a wealth of experience from his previous role being Sales Manager for Be Well Canadian Spas. Superior Spas now have a presence in France, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Poland and Spain and have plans to expand into Scandinavia as well as America, Canada and New Zealand. The Export team is led by Gareth Ward, Sales Director and consists of Costa Alecrim, Alyssa Blackbourn, Alberto Hernando – all of whom are bilingual. Graham Message focuses on the UK market. The team are working hard to secure new relationships plus focusing on their existing relationships. In addition to Amaury’s appointment, Gemma Cogan has joined the company as Head of Customer Experience. Gemma brings a wealth of Customer Service Management experience having previously worked for Silver X Group as their Client Relations Manager. Gemma’s role is to ensure that all customers receive the best experience at all times, and will be implementing processes throughout the business to make sure this always happens. Joseph Dixey and Ben Duncan have joined as new Technical Support Engineers. Joseph joins Superior Spas with a wealth of experience as a Signals Operator with the British Army and Ben brings 17 years of tech and product support experience from British Gas. Their roles role will be to provide technical support to all customers who require it and to be constantly finding ways to improve products and services.  Finally, Petra Nolan, recently started as a Junior Designer/Marketing Assistant and joins a growing marketing team striving to increase brand awareness, sales and revenue.
