FEATURE STORY

Why Small Businesses Need a Bookkeeping Services

Most entrepreneurs value a professional bookkeeping service, but with so many tasks, business owners sometimes cannot handle running a business, taking care of minor details and tracking the income and expenses. Small business owners that need the services of a bookkeeper can hire an in-house bookkeeper or outsource the service to a reputable company. The technology has changed the way people do business and bookkeeping services such as monitoring of accounts payable, expenditure, account receivable, profit and losses etc. regarding your business. A bookkeeping service can do all these tasks without being present in your office. Below are some benefits of outsourcing your bookkeeping needs:

NO MORE BOOKKEEPING CHALLENGES When you do all your bookkeeping services yourself or in-house, you won’t be able to spend your time judiciously because it will consume all your time. However, this time can be devoted for other things such as marketing of your business, improving processes, crafting new products, etc. When you hire a bookkeeping service or other CPA services you will have enough time, which can be used to think on how to improve your

brand, achieve your goals, or disrupt the industry and also monitor various activities when needed.

COST EFFECTIVE When you hire bookkeeping services or other service providers such as a payroll service you can hire them on a per task basis or pay them hourly, weekly, or monthly depending on your needs and agreement with them. Everything will actually depend on your needs, the size of your company, and the amount of work that needs to be done. Whenever you hire a bookkeeping service or other services like Tax Preparation or CFO services you can hire them based on the task you have for them or on hourly, daily or monthly basis depending on the service needed and the terms of the agreement. It all depends on what you need the size of your company, and the quantity of work that you want to do.

EXPERTS DOING WHAT THEY KNOW BEST Professional bookkeepers and accountants would do their best in ensuring that you are best served, this does not mean that you cannot do the task yourself, but it is best to leave it to the professionals because of the experience they have in the field. Many bookkeeping services have a team of experts

which include accountants and bookkeepers that knows the right step to take in every situation. They will also be able to handle various queries and concerns. The amazing part is that they will do everything comfortably without stressing their self.

CONSERVATION A NEW WAY OF LIFE

Outsourcing the services of a bookkeeper is good because it makes it very easy to tap into the pool of experience to enhance the performance of your own company. The bookkeeping company has many benefits, one of which is the provision of quality work so that they will be called over and over.

out-of-pocket expenses for your car, lodging, and meals (IRS Publication 526). Of course, discuss whether these (or many other) deductions apply to you with your personal tax advisor. If you don’t have one, the Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce has a number of CPA members that we’d be happy to connect you with! On a personal note, I’d like to sincerely thank those who made it to our ArchAngel Financial Grand Re-Opening and Ribbon Cutting. It was truly humbling to receive so much support from our clients, the community, and the Apple Valley and Hispanic Chambers of Commerce! If your business is new to the community or has experienced a change, please give us a call to schedule your own ribbon cutting. It’s a fantastic benefit of being a member of the Apple Valley Chamber, and our amazing team of ambassadors will provide an agenda, invite local dignitaries, and promote your event as a free benefit of your chamber membership. Victoria Martin

Business Spotlight “The secret of my success is that we have gone to exceptional lengths to hire the best people in the world.” -Steve Jobs It’s no secret there are certain risk factors in hiring a new employee for your business. From recruitment until retirement there are a myriad of opportunities for things to go horribly wrong. For 18 years, The HR Edge has helped companies successfully avoid, and overcome, many of those risks by providing a full range of human resources, consulting, and training services. Much like having an in-house HR department (without the overhead), The HR Edge can guide your business through the hiring of your first employee to training your workforce to coaching you through the difficulty of a termination. Serving the High Desert, Inland Empire, and Orange County, and based in Victorville, HRE specializes in small and medium-size businesses. These unique partnerships enable the firm to tailor products and services that fit their specific needs. For those requiring continuous support of an expert HR professional, HRE offers retainer packages that include regular, on-site visits as well as day-to-day assistance via telephone, email, text, or fax. Per-project consulting may be the perfect solution for individual projects like navigating the complexity of State and Federal regulations. Non-compliance can result in huge penalties, audits, and in some cases, the dissolution of a business. The HR Edge equips owners with the tools necessary to ensure compliance standards are met. The human resource experts at HRE know the secret to creating efficient and pleasant work environments is communication. Their signature training and development, management coaching, and customized employee handbooks are just a few of strategies they provide to give their clients the edge. To learn more about how The HR Edge can assist with your human resources needs, visit their website www. hredgeonline.com or call 760-218-6960.
