to hear about academic theories on the growth of taxation legislation in NZ over the previous thirty years! 5. What Sort of Team Does Your Accountant Have?

Are They Easy to Work With?

Up front payments and prices that are clear? And we don't mean "bundling packages." We determined against these some years ago in favour of greater transparency. A clear, fixed price that one can pay off or pay in one fell swoop. (Bundling is a monthly payment that can eek away in the background without you ever totally accessing the full price. It's a confusion for clients since they're locked in to their package and can't ever actually access anything beyond their bundle without paying extra bucks. We do not do that. Not transparent enough for Slaters and we have seen it eventuate into relationship dislocation between associate and client.) Simple to make a scheduled appointment? How about hidden costs? Are there annoying and hourly rates that are sneaky hidden someplace in the fine print? A fantastic cpa is totally transparent about costs and is also very reachable.
