Intelligent design by the product pioneer! KEN features (see below) achieve the impossible more out of less! C-systems to AS™ standards is another industry first! AnutoneStrut is a new, improved C-system framework for acoustical ceilings and panellings, research engineered by Anutone. It represents the next-generation roll-forming technology. It increases product performance, including greater load-carrying and better acoustical and fire performance with easier installation. AnutoneStrut is made from high strength, hot dipped galvanized steel as per IS 513 with 120 gms zero spangle zinc coating.

Typical Applications AnutoneStrut is used in residential spaces • Offices • • Cinemas • • Classrooms • • Hotels • • Home Theatres •

commercial, industrial and

Aesthetics AbnutoneStrut C-system is either a concealed suspended grid ceiling system or a concealed wall panelling system suitable for internal application. Hence aesthetic issues do not arise.

Special Features 3 unique features - KEN - for a superior product meeting project specifications • Knurling - fully dot knurled for better strength, enhanced fastener grip • Edging - full seaming of sharp edges for more strength, straight line finish, safety • Notching - V-notch sightline for more strength and precise joints The KEN features secure 10 advantages • Strength - Higher strength from lighter material • Acoustics - Better acoustical performance • Fire - Improved fire resistance • Grip - Reduces fastener stripping and riding • Load - Greater load-carrying capacity • Rigidity - Stiffened - more rigid installation • Installation - Faster, better, easier, cheaper • Damages - Reduces damages during transit and at sites • Standardisation Improved productivity and quality • Differentiation Innovative product, easily identified, not substituted

Though AnutoneStrut is a concealed system the grids must preferably be designed from the centre of the space and residual grids on the perimeter divided equally. Ceiling fixures like HVAC diffusers, luminaires and wall fixtures like light sconces, loudspeakers must be individually suspended from the roof, not weight-loaded on AnutoneStrut.

Accessories AnutoneStrut is part of a system and/or tiles and accessories like bolts, cleats, rods, clips.

CC25 is the main supporting member for the panels or tiles. It is suspended from MC45 perpendicularly with AnutoneStitch clips and spanned at 600mm centres for panels with surface density <18 kgs/m2 (panels with thickness < 40mm) and at 300mm centres for panels >18kgs/ m2 (panels with thickness > 40mm). WC25 is used at the perimeter of the ceiling on the wall / partition with the help of AnutoneStitch nylon sleeves and screws. For vibration management, AnutoneStand pads are used between the wall and WC25.

MC45 is the main supporting member for the system that is suspended from the roof with the soffit cleat (mechanically fastened to the roof with AnutoneStitch) and suspender angle (SA25) at 1200mm centres. For vibration management it is supported by AnutoneSuspend ceiling hangers. It is spanned also at 1200mm centres. It is used as an intermediate support to the ceiling cross channel.

SA25 is used for suspending the Main Channels from the soffit roof. At the roof, AnutoneStitch anchor bolts are used to secure the soffit cleat to which the SA 25 is attachd. At MC45 a bracket accessory used. All mechanical fasteners are AnutoneStitch. For vibration management it supports AnutoneSuspend acoustical ceiling hangers.

Strut CC10 is the slimmest wall channel that plumb levels truant civil walls and creates a 10mm airgap between interior panels and the base wall. What is more the resultant 10mm airgap can have Synth 5x10 or 10x10 infill for enhanced performance.

CC25 is the main supporting member for the panels or tiles creating a D25 or C25 mounting. It is spanned at 600mm centres, perpendicular to the long edges of the panels. CC25 is mechanically fastened to walls with AnutoneStitch. Where vibration management is necessary, CC25 is inserted in AnutoneSway wall braces and rests on AnutoneStand pads at the floor junction. CC50 is the main supporting member for the panels or tiles creating a D50 or C50 mounting. It is spanned at 600mm centres, perpendicular to the long edges of the panels. CC50 is mechanically fastened to walls with AnutoneStitch. Where vibration management is necessary, CC50 is inserted in AnutoneSway wall braces and rests on AnutoneStand pads at the floor junction.

Site Considerations

Warranty

AnutoneStrut must be stored in a dry place. The long ends must be fragile protected till installation to ensure the flanges are not dented. Dented flanges will not join precisely.

10 years limited warranty - on the application of AnutoneStrut when installed to specifications and maintained under an AMC programme.

Acoustical Parameters AnutoneStrut, C-System is a framework, on which acoustical tiles or panels are mechanically fastened. AnutoneStrut with its unique KEN features improves the overall acoustical performance of the installation.

NOTE - Anutone has the capability expertise and own infrastructure to perform custom acoustics tests for given design as per ISO 140 at its lab and provide acoustic values of AnutoneStrut applications specific to installations.

Installation Guidelines Ceiling specs for E300 mounting

Panelling specs for C50 mounting

AnutoneStrut channels made from prime quality, cold rolled steel as per IS 513, hot dipped galvanised with 120gsm, zinc coating as per IS 277. The wall is level-marked and Wall Channels WC25 installed. The Main Channels MC45 of size 45x0.9mm are spanned at 1200mm centres by suspension from the overhead construction with AnutoneStitch cleats and SA25 suspenders. The Cross Channels CC25 of 0.45mm thick with web of 50 mm and two flanges of 25mm each with seamed lips of 15mm are fixed on MC45 at 600mm centres, perpendicularly.

AnutoneStrut channels made from prime quality, cold rolled steel as per IS 513, hot dipped galvanised with 120gsm, zinc coating as per IS 277. Cross Channels of 0.45mm thick having fully dot knurled web of 50mm and two flanges of 50mm each with curled lips of 15mm are fixed directly on the wall at 600mm centres by using AnutoneStitch nylon sleeves and fasteners. The resultant gap between two Cross Channels is friction-fitted with AnutoneSynth AW.

Anutone panels or tiles are then mechanically fasted to the Cross Channels, perpendicularly with staggered edges. The fasteners consist of AnutoneStitch self-tapping wafer-head screws that are 10mm longer than the tile thickness and are inserted 12mm from each edge of the tile.
