Statement of Intent I believe Architecture is everything. It is the envelope we tend to take for granted but it is what commonly ties us all together. Architecture creates a space for people to cultivate and entices new ways we engage with one another on a daily basis. My understanding of the field both conceptually an by definition changes over time as life exposes me to new experiences while maturing as a young designer. As a student entering the field I was passionate about having the ability to create meaning pieces that will manifest itself in this world. Not just for today, but for tomorrow. Architecture for me is about investing in people and making a true and meaningful difference in society. As I reflect on my academic endeavors and following my dreams, the universe has led me to an architectural portfolio. At this moment in time, my portfolio will exemplify and showcase my academic achievements and skills I have attained over the course of my design career. This piece aims to show my thought process, graphical and organizational skills, and level of creativity. Not only does it give potential employers an idea as to who I am as a designer but also allows me to understand myself as I travel to one environment to the next.
