RUBIK HOUSE Social housing Pescara, IT Design studio 2008-2009

The project area is near a busy road in Pesc ra, so the building has a balcony on the facade in front of the street. This is the vertical connection, with stairs and elevator, but at the same time, it acts as an acoustic-visual barrier. The balcony links two cubical buildings (9mx9mx9m), with six appartments each. The particularity is the structure in reinforced concrete frame; it is closed by prefabricated panels with standardized openings. On the three sides not facing up to the balcony, there are wooden panels, with a book opening, sliding on rails.

CULTURAL WORKSHOP Multifunctional Corinth Design studio 4 2011-2012

This project is in Corinth(GR), our idea is to generate greater movement of people through the creation of multifunctional structures: offices, shopping mall, museum and station. Each one of them with a system of brice soleil to shield from sunlight and connected by a long bridge-museum with steel that wraps around the entire area.

CASE STUDY HOUSE #27 Private house Los Angeles, California Architectural representation 2010-2011

This is the study of the “case study house #27. We have studied the plant; we realized that the idea was to have a standard form that could be repeated and diversified, depending on the features. These modules are also arranged to not abuse the environment. Not a single tree is felled, but it is the home to be built around them. In addiction the modules are raised, through the reinforced concrete pillars, from the soil just to keep this kind of respect for the nature. The intersting part of the study was the analisys of the prefabricated structures to understand the materials and how they were assembled.

MAST CODE Sailboat Naval design 2011-2012

The concept of the project is a ladybug, symbol of the environment and sustainability. The boat deck shape has been inspired by the small insect: portholes have made to imitate the small black dots that characterize the wings, as well as the shape of the deck seems to be the profile of the ladybug. The deck is covered with photovoltaic panels that accentuate the round shape. Also inside is taken up the game of curved shapes:elliptical table, chairs occupying the bow, the same is for the kitchen and bathroom. The interior is illuminated by the “three light”, which is an alluminium structure that branches out into the living area, penetrating all space and filters the sunlight of day, while at night it lights up the whole system through the leds. The most important element is “the marine oasis”, a little piece of green in the open sea; a small hydroponic greenhouse.

YAC UNIVERSITY ISLAND Reuse and addition Venezia, IT Partecipation to a competition 2016

The project regards a new generation of university system. Not much about what to teach but how to teach. Active learning (e-learning) allow students to have a flexible space and time to study. The advantages are: -less buildings-more green spaces. -less expenses for students-more quality teaching. The place of this innovative and multicultural university is Poveglia, a little island of Venice lagoon.

COUNTRYHOUSE & WINERY DE LISIO Residential and Commercial Termoli, IT 2015-2016

An existing shed, without infill, and the idea of creating a restaurant, with bar, an exhibition area and the upper level administrative area and residence. All enclosed by a steel coating cor-ten, dynamized with the subtraction or addition of volumes. The residence, as the winery, starts from the idea to create a game of volumes, only that in this case there isn’t a preexistence. The lower facade, to give a sense of greater firmness, is covered with stone. In the middle is places the stairwell and lift, which is contained in a glass volume that divides the two parts of the house. Two glabbed volumes: living area and sleeping area. The first more open to give more light to the living. The second volume is more closed to give confidentiality to the bedrooms.

HOUSING FOR ELERLY Residential Iturucu, BR 2015-2016

Two project proposals. The first, building on a plan in which the room are arranged around the central court, so to give to tenants and relatives visiting, a space where they can stroll and pass the time. So much space to life outside the rooms . The materials used are simple: rust-colored plaster and stone basement. The alternative is a building on three levels, and over on the ground floor, stone, where there are various administrative and functional aspects in the life of the elderly, the upper floors there are the rooms; this time the common spaces of the relevance of the rooms are large verandas protected by panels made of bamboo canes to book. The string courses of rust intonaco highlight the facade in beige plaster.

RENOVATION HOTEL SOLE Hotel Pescara, IT 2015-2016

With this interventation we want to guarantee the sea view to the hall and the bar of the hotel. The elimination of the inclosure and the expansion of the courtyard across the road, partially hidden by a hole wall. The shelter goes towards the guests, guiding them to the entrance. Within we find, on the left the new double height hall and on the right the bar on two levels, which are linked by a wooden and steel stair. Distinguishing feature, over the use of orange resumed from the outside for the countertop and some walls, the dove grey wall, which leaving by the stairs at the first level, goes up extending throughout the second level; the wall stands out thanks to the presence of bright niches that gives it dinamicity.

RESIDENTIAL BUILDING 1 Residential Pescara, IT 2015-2016

A residential building on the hill, which sees the Pescara sea. Four residential floor and a roof garden with swimming polls. The project is a composition of staggered volumes, which create a game of empties and solids .The materials are: stone,cor-ten and white plaster.
