xplorers Club For the Rolex collector, this is a piece of the brand’s own history rather than an accessory to it. Rolex built its identity on exploration, from the 1953 Everest expedition that inspired the Explorer to the Deepsea Special’s 1960 descent to the Challenger Deep. This medal is The Explorers Club’s formal recognition of that legacy. Rolex artifacts of this kind rarely reach the open market. It offers a rare opportunity to own a document of the relationship that shaped the Explorer and Oyster lines.

The Times - Everest Color Supplement, 1953 This 1953 Times Everest Color Supplement records the historic first ascent of Mount Everest by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay. The expedition was equipped with Rolex Oyster Perpetual watches, and the achievement directly inspired the launch of the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Explorer later that year. Featuring the striking contemporary cover image captioned “Companions in Achievement,” this rare period publication provides an exceptional historical link between the birth of the Rolex Explorer and one of the greatest achievements in exploration.

A

n exceptional piece of Rolex and auction history, comprising two original large-format banners displayed in the auction room for Antiquorum’s landmark “Revolution: The Evolution of the Rolex Sport Watch” sale, held in New York on April 17, 2008. Widely regarded as one of the defining Rolex-themed auctions of its era, Revolution presented an extraordinary survey of the evolution of the Rolex sport watch and included numerous historically important and exceptionally rare examples. The banners themselves are particularly evocative: each features the distinctive Antiquorum Revolution branding together with large photographic representations of important vintage Rolex sport watches, effectively preserving the visual identity of one of the most memorable Rolex auctions organized by Antiquorum. Completing the ensemble is a large steel Rolex crown, creating a striking three-dimensional element of vintage Rolex display art. Large, visually powerful and with direct association to an important moment in the history of Rolex collecting, the pair would make an exceptional display for a serious vintage Rolex collector, specialist or dealer. Hung together in a showroom, office, collection room or private gallery, the banners and steel coronet immediately evoke the atmosphere of the legendary Revolution sale while celebrating the extraordinary watches that helped define the modern market for vintage Rolex.

T

he ref. 5514 is considered by collectors and enthusiasts as the essential «must have» COMEX model due to its unique reference number. The ref. 5514 was never sold to the public and remained a model reserved solely for the underwater operations specialists COMEX. The present watch is extremely rare and highly desirable because it is the only known ref. 5514 produced without the Helium Escape Valve. We believe that it was among the first watches delivered to COMEX, and therefore, was part of a very small experimental series which did not feature the gas escape valve. This watch was fully serviced by a Rolex retailer in 2003. Biography: COMEX (Compagnie Maritime d’expertise) A French company specialized in deep sea exploration that made great advances in saturation diving in the 1960’s and 70’s. At the time COMEX divers wore Rolex Submariners, ref. 5513. These were rated to 200 meters, sufficient for most dives. However, during the 10-day decompression period following saturation dives, the watch crystals tended to explode due to pressure from helium that had built up in the watch. To rectify this, Rolex invented the gas escape valve (Swiss patent 492246). This simple spring-loaded one-way valve was first fitted to the standard Submariner 5513, which was then given the Ref. 5514. Further research led to the first «Sea-Dweller, Submariner 2000», Ref. 1665, in 1971.

he reference 6241 occupies a particularly important position within the history of the manual-winding Cosmograph Daytona. Produced for only a relatively short period during the second half of the 1960s, it is distinguished by its black acrylic tachymeter bezel, contrasting with the metal bezels found on references such as the 6239 and giving the watch the appearance that would later become closely associated with the screw-down reference 6263. The present example is particularly compelling for its 14K yellow gold case, a configuration specifically associated with the American market. During this period, Rolex produced certain gold watches in 14K rather than the 18K standard more commonly encountered in Europe, responding to the particular commercial and import conditions of the United States. The inside caseback is clearly stamped “14K 0.585”, providing an important indication of its intended market. This American-market character is especially coherent with the Tiffany & Co. signature appearing on the dial. Rolex watches retailed through Tiffany & Co. in the United States could receive the celebrated retailer’s name in addition to the Rolex signature, creating a direct connection between two of the most recognisable names in twentieth-century luxury. The combination of a 14K yellow gold Daytona and Tiffany-signed dial therefore forms a particularly appropriate and historically consistent pairing. The black dial provides a striking contrast against the yellow gold case, with three light-coloured subsidiary registers creating the classic reverse-panda configuration. Together with the black acrylic bezel, pump pushers and approximately 36 mm case, the watch retains the purposeful character of the early Daytona while acquiring considerably greater presence through its precious-metal construction. Powering the watch is the manually wound calibre 722-1, a 17-jewel chronograph movement characteristic of the period. Visible beneath the caseback, it represents the traditional hand-wound mechanical architecture that defined the Daytona before the model’s eventual transition to automatic winding two decades later.

AVID PENNEY (b. 1948) Patek Philippe Reference 2499, perpetual calendar chronograph

Signed and dated 1986 Drawn for Patek Philippe Genève: Wristwatches, the Huber and Banbery volume published by AntiquorumEditions in 1988 — the companion to their 1982 study of the firm’s pocket watches, for which Penney had also supplied the endpapers. Its success brought him back for the wristwatch book, this time designing the cover as well. The wide horizontal composition, running from strap elevation through finished watch to a four-stage dissection of the calendar work, is classic endpaper architecture for a double-page spread.

Close up of original David Penney pencil signature and dated 1986

The subject is a reference 2499 of the third or fourth series: round pushers, applied batons, no tachymeter, peripheral date ring. The 1986 date argues for the final 2499/100, made from 1980 until 1985. Three hundred and forty-nine 2499s were produced across thirty-five years — roughly nine a year — and the reference has since become the defining grail of wristwatch collecting. The drawings carry a story. When Penney delivered the endpaper studies of the perpetual calendar and chronograph work, the head of Patek’s workshop was summoned and carried them off for checking. He returned to confirm them correct, and, Penney recalled, looked rather crestfallen. Banbery later explained that the workshop could not accept that a foreign «mere illustrator» had gotten the mechanism right. They hunted for an error and found none.

ine and historically important 18K yellow gold manual-winding wristwatch, featuring a highly unusual silvered matte dial with subsidiary seconds, applied faceted gold indexes, distinctive double index at 12 o’clock, delicate dotted outer minute track and period-correct gold hands. Manufactured in 1932, the present watch dates from the very first year of production of the reference 96, Patek Philippe’s landmark early Calatrava. According to an analysis by horological scholar and Patek Philippe specialist Dr. Marco Tortella, the watch displays a highly unusual combination of characteristics. Tortella particularly noted the unusual construction of the dial and its thick, faceted applied indexes, together with characteristics of the case consistent with very early production. More importantly, it is the combination of dial, indexes, hands, case and movement that distinguishes the present watch from known examples of the reference. The Patek Philippe archives do not describe the original dial configuration, preventing definitive archival confirmation. However, extensive research has so far failed to identify another reference 96 with this exact configuration. A fascinating and highly distinctive example of one of Patek Philippe’s most historically important references.

eference 5961P takes the practical architecture of Patek Philippe’s self-winding annual calendar chronograph and elevates it through an extensive precious-stone treatment. The 40 mm platinum case frames a blue dial set with baguette diamond hour markers, while the diamond-set bezel creates a crisp line of brilliance around the watch. Powered by the calibre CH 28-520 IRM QA 24H, the mechanism combines chronograph, annual calendar, power reserve and additional indications in a format conceived for regular use rather than occasional display.

The deep blue dial provides a particularly effective background for the baguette stones, allowing their geometry to echo the clean lines of the case. Despite the richness of the materials, the watch retains a strong technical identity, with the chronograph and calendar functions remaining visually central. It is a distinctive meeting of complication and jewellery, less overtly traditional than Patek Philippe’s perpetual calendar chronographs, but compelling precisely because it combines mechanical practicality with the weight, colour and brilliance of platinum and diamonds. The piece demonstrates Patek Philippe’s characteristic ability to combine mechanical complexity with visual discipline. The case proportions, dial geometry and hierarchy of indications are designed so that the complication remains readable rather than ornamental. Precious materials enrich the surface, but the underlying construction retains the measured, architectural quality associated with Geneva high watchmaking. This balance between technical content and restraint is central to the reference’s identity. The watch is accompanied by original fitted box, certificate of origin. It is fitted to leather with an 18k white gold and baguette diamond deployant clasp.

he reference 5711/1R-001 represents one of the most luxurious interpretations of Patek Philippe’s iconic Nautilus, combining the unmistakable architecture of Gérald Genta’s celebrated design with the warmth and substantial presence of 18K pink gold. Introduced as the precious-metal counterpart to the classic steel 5711, the reference retains the elegant 40 mm proportions and integrated bracelet that have defined the Nautilus since its creation. The present example is rendered considerably rarer and more desirable by the Tiffany & Co. signature discreetly positioned at 6 o’clock. Reserved for watches retailed through the historic American jeweller, Tiffany-signed Patek Philippe watches represent a long-standing relationship between two of the most important names in luxury watchmaking and jewellery. On a pink gold Nautilus, this already uncommon signature creates an especially compelling configuration. The horizontally embossed brown dial complements the warm tones of the pink gold case and bracelet, changing from deep chocolate to lighter bronze according to the light. Applied gold indexes and luminous hands preserve the characteristic clarity of the Nautilus, while the Tiffany & Co. signature provides a subtle but immediately significant detail for the collector. Powered by the self-winding calibre 324 SC, the watch combines central seconds and date with the refined proportions expected of the reference. The integrated 18K pink gold bracelet completes the design, its alternating brushed and polished surfaces emphasising the continuous architecture running from case to clasp. Dating from 2017 and accompanied by its outer Tiffany box, original fitted box and Certificate of Origin, the present watch combines the appeal of the full pink gold 5711 with the exceptional collectability of a Tiffany-signed dial, making it a particularly rare expression of one of Patek Philippe’s most celebrated modern references. The watch is fitted to an 18K pink gold Patek Philippe bracelet with double deployant clasp.

TTRIBUTED TO THE DERIAZ FAMILY, GENEVA, 1844 An Exceptional Watchmaker’s Bench with Thread-Cutting Lathe, Stamped and Dated

Stamped «C.DERIAZ.P» and dated 1844, this bench is attributed to the Deriaz family, recorded as watch manufacturers in Geneva from 1792 to 1848. They belonged to the Fabrique, the network of independent specialist workshops that made Geneva the rival of London in fine watchmaking, and this bench dates from the final years of both the firm and that tradition. It is far more than working furniture. The hardwood frame stands on stop-fluted legs with carved lozenge plinths and fitted drawers with brass ring pulls, details drawn from fine cabinetmaking. The top carries a polishing stone and a brass angle guide by Holtzapffel & Co. of London, the most celebrated lathe makers of the age, whose clients included the crowned heads of Europe. The treadle-driven thread-cutting lathe, with two tailstocks sliding in a steel-lined channel, allowed the watchmaker to make the tiny screws that held a movement together. Most watchmaker’s benches were plain, used hard, and eventually discarded. A signed and dated example of this quality, combining Geneva craftsmanship with London precision fittings, is exceptionally rare, and survives as a vivid record of a Geneva workshop in the last great years of the Fabrique.

he present machine was designed to cut circular guilloché, the decorative technique that turns gold and silver watchcases, dials, and objets de vertu into shimmering fields of engraved light. Its turret head carries eight spring-loaded tool stocks that the operator can index quickly between cuts. This arrangement reflects the drive toward speed and repeatability that defined the period, when hand-guided engine turning was giving way to industrial methods. Machines of this kind rarely leave the workshop floor. When they do appear, they offer collectors a tangible link to how the fine watch decoration of the interwar years was actually made.

n 1962, the leading Swiss manufacturers pooled their resources in Neuchâtel to found the Centre Electronique Horloger, a research consortium created to meet the challenge of battery-powered watches from abroad. Within five years its prototypes had shattered records at the Neuchâtel Observatory. For the students who would staff the industry’s workshops, the lesson was clear: the watchmaker of the future would have to understand electromagnetism as well as the mainspring. The present model was built for that classroom. Its transparent perspex plates let students follow the whole cycle, as an electromagnetic coil gives each impulse to the escape wheel, with magnets arranged above and below, and the balance regulates the release of energy. The oversized battery housing, made in the form of a battery, is a pedagogical touch that makes the power source obvious at a glance. Teaching models like this were made in small numbers for internal instruction, not for sale, and few have left the institutions that commissioned them. The model remains in working order. It captures a pivotal moment when Swiss watchmaking education turned from purely mechanical training toward the electronic era.

M

ade in 1938, the Sidéromètre was built to solve one problem for the navigator of a fast aircraft: how to fix a position by the stars before the aircraft has moved too far for the answer to matter. A star sight locates the navigator only if he also knows exactly how far the Earth has rotated at the instant of observation. That figure is an angle, but a clock gives time — so the navigator had to convert one into the other by table, arithmetic that costs minutes at the chart table. In a fast aircraft, those minutes are the difference between a fix and a guess. The Sidéromètre removed the conversion. It runs on sidereal rather than mean time and displays the result directly as an angle: the Earth’s rotation in degrees, minutes and seconds. The three apertures read degrees at the right, tens at the centre, hundreds at the left, while the centre-seconds hand completes one revolution in the time the Earth turns through a single degree against the stars. The navigator read the number straight off the dial. The split-seconds mechanism froze that reading at the exact moment of the sextant shot while the instrument kept running, so a series of sights could be taken without ever stopping the clock. The series ran to twenty-five pieces only. This example, No. 4107, was produced in September 1938 and sold to the French Aéronautique on 30 December 1938 for 15,800 francs, an extraordinary sum for a single instrument and a measure of the value the French air arm placed on celestial navigation on the eve of war. The patent was filed in 1939. By this date the Breguet horological house had long since passed out of the founding family’s hands. The descendants of Abraham-Louis Breguet turned progressively toward electricity and later aviation, and in 1870 Louis-Clément Breguet ceded the watchmaking branch to his workshop foreman, Edward Brown, whose family held the Maison for a century. Breguet remained largely out of view through the 1940s — the Type XX dates only from 1954 — which makes the Sidéromètre one of the most unusual objects the name produced in the twentieth century. With twenty-five made and an unknown number surviving, this is among the rarest categories of twentieth-century Breguet, and it sits at an unusual intersection of collecting fields: horology, the history of celestial navigation, and French military aviation of 1939-40.

INTAGE US NAVY POLISHED CHROME INSTRUMENT PANEL A complete rotary-wing instrument panel from a US Navy Link flight simulator, retaining its full original instrument complement, factory placards, and documented military service tags.

The panel is formed from a single sheet of polished aluminum, curved at the upper edge and cut with a stepped lower right profile to clear the trainer’s console structure. It stands freestanding on integral folded mounting feet. Fourteen instruments are mounted in a period cockpit arrangement, secured with brass-finished machine screws and retaining rings. Dials are black-faced with cream-yellow markings and pointers, typical of US military instrument practice of the period. Markings: Link Division, General Precision Inc., Binghamton, New York Instruments by Kollsman Instrument Division, Square D Company, Elmhurst, New York Serviced at Naval Air Station Quonset Point, Rhode Island, 29 January 1957

T

he Great Seal of the United States is engraved by hand on the front cover — the eagle, the shield of thirteen stripes, the glory of stars.

The Islesboro was an American schooner named for the island town in Penobscot Bay, Maine. Her loss came in mid-November in the North Atlantic. The Atholl found her and took off her master and crew.

A rescue at sea is an act of individual judgment — and governments that wanted such judgment exercised in favor of their own sailors made a visible practice of rewarding it. That practice ran through the American State Department for the better part of a century.

Presidential presentation awards from President Roosevelt are extremely rare. Only a handful of his awards are documented at all, chiefly in State Department correspondence rather than in any sale record, and almost none have reached the open market. A comparable piece is held by the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich. They were awarded singly, to named men, for documented acts, kept as family heirlooms rather than commodities, and most that survive are now in institutions.

A consul reported the rescue, the Department verified it, and the President authorized a testimonial issued under his own name — which is why the Great Seal appears here as an emblem of sovereign authority rather than ornament.

his example was presented to LUIGI «GIGI» VILLORESI (1909-1977) by FERRARI commemorating his victory at the MILLE MIGLIA race on April 28-29, 1951. Gigi had an illustrious driving career starting in the early 1930’s in his native country Italy, and moved his way up to becoming a well-respected GRAND PRIX driver, actively participating between 1950 and 1956. For the Mille Miglia race in 1951, he drove one of the four racing cars produced by Ferrari for that particular race, and he chose the FERRARI 340 AMERICA BERLINETTA VIGNALE model. While Enzo Ferrari firmly believed an open car was the key to winning the Mile Miglia races, Gigi with much perseverance convinced Ferrari to produce a coupe model to minimize the noise while he was driving for multiple hours. He completed the race in 12 hours, 50 minutes, and 18 seconds; 20 minutes faster than Bracco who had finished in second place. It is a rare opportunity to acquire this historical piece for any racing enthusiasts and vintage car collectors alike.

Carlo Benzi and Enzo Ferrari

T

he engraving reads as a proper Italian dedication:

«A Carlo Benzi / Enzo Ferrari» «To Carlo Benzi, [from] Enzo Ferrari» Carlo Benzi was Enzo Ferrari’s longtime personal accountant and chief financial officer, famously referred to as Ferrari’s historic «Ministro delle finanze» (Minister of Finance). He was one of the most trusted inner-circle confidants of «II Commendatore» (The Drake), working directly alongside him for 42 years. Beyond managing the company s complicated financials during the legendary 1950s and 1960s, Benzi was a close personal friend. Along with designer Sergio Scaglietti, communications chief Franco Gozzi, and chauffeur Dino Tagliazucchi, he formed the tightly-knit group that shared Ferrari’s private life and Saturday lunches long after their active working days concluded.

Gigi Villoresi working on his Ferrari

The case back is engraved «2° ASSOLUTO CARRERA MESSICANA 1951» means: «2nd Overall - Mexican Road Race 1951.»

uigi “Gigi” Villoresi (Milan 1909 – Modena 1997) was the senior figure of Italian racing. At the end of the 1940s he joined Ferrari and brought Alberto Ascari with him — the younger man he had mentored.

The race behind the engraving The Carrera Panamericana ran from 20 to 25 November 1951 — eight stages, roughly 1,934 miles of public road climbing out of the jungle at Tuxtla Gutiérrez in Chiapas and finishing at Ciudad Juárez on the Texas border. Ferrari entered two 212 Inter coupés bodied by Vignale. Piero Taruffi shared chassis 0171 with Chinetti as car #34. Veilloresi shared chassis 0161 with Ascari as car #9. The Ferraris came home first and second overall, the winning car in 21 hours, 57 minutes and 52 seconds of racing, with Villoresi and Ascari immediately behind. It was the most ambitious foreign campaign the four-year-old company had yet attempted, and it made Ferrari’s name in the Americas at the exact moment Enzo needed a market there. Writing about him years afterward, Enzo Ferrari called Villoresi «a real champion, both in terms of style and daring,» and named him the long-standing pride of his native Milan. He added, in the same breath and entirely in character, that Gigi was a cunning operator who knew how to work both his machinery and his rivals’ weaknesses right to the edge of what was fair. It is a rare opportunity to acquire this historical piece for any racing enthusiasts and vintage car collectors alike. 68

ast known retail price: CHF 108,000 (2018) This watch is in New Old Stock condition. The full international warranty will start from the date of purchase.

The HM7 Aquapod represents a bold departure from conventional watchmaking: unlike most watches with horizontal movement layouts, this machine features a revolutionary vertical movement orientation—a defining characteristic that shapes its entire design philosophy. At first sight, the HM7 Aquapod strikes as a mysterious toy. Inspired by jellyfish, it captivates with super-luminova along the rotor that glows in darkness, tentacle-like winding rotor, and three-dimensional «floating» hour and minute numerals all made possible by its unique vertical architecture. This vertical orientation isn’t just aesthetic it’s an engineering marvel. The machine comprises over 300 individual parts working in vertical harmony to deliver 72 hours of power reserve. The winding rotor’s three-dimensional curved tentacles are crafted from titanium, presenting a significant manufacturing challenge for both machining and finishing. To ensure optimal winding efficiency in this vertical configuration, much heavier platinum is strategically hidden beneath the lightweight titanium tentacles. Salute to this breathtaking creative horological machine.

T

he Balancier 3 represents a particularly pure expression of Greubel Forsey’s approach to contemporary haute horlogerie, placing the regulating organ, three-dimensional movement architecture and exceptional hand-finishing at the very heart of the watch. Housed in a 41.5 mm titanium case, its construction combines considerable visual depth with an unexpectedly light and contemporary presence on the wrist. The blue dial is conceived as a succession of levels rather than a conventional flat surface. Openworked sections reveal the movement beneath, while the large balance becomes the principal mechanical focal point of the composition. Bridges, indications and structural elements appear suspended at different heights, creating the architectural sense of volume that has become one of Greubel Forsey’s defining signatures. Finishing is inseparable from this architecture. Broad polished bevels, frosted and grained surfaces, black-polished steel and sharply defined transitions allow individual components to emerge from the complexity of the movement. The contrast between the technical character of titanium and the meticulous execution of the movement is particularly striking, rewarding close observation from the overall geometry down to the smallest hand-finished detail. Limited to only 88 pieces, the Balancier 3 offers a concentrated expression of Greubel Forsey’s philosophy, placing its large 12.6 mm variable-inertia balance at the centre of the composition. Rather than adding traditional complications, the manufacture focuses attention on chronometric performance, three-dimensional movement architecture and exceptional hand-finishing. The result is a watch whose regulating organ is not merely visible, but becomes one of the defining elements of its design. The watch is accompanied by its original fitted box, warranty, three additional straps and loupe. It is fitted to rubber with a Greubel Forsey titanium double deployant clasp. 73

ollowing Cartier’s historic April 2025 fundamentally restructure and of its New Special Order (NSO) commission program, the present lot stands as an unrepeatable monument of modern horological privilege: an extremely fine and piece unique manual-winding wristwatch from the final era of private customization.

While the asymmetrical Cartier Crash is universally recognized as the single most difficult model to secure via private commission, this specific example is a spectacular physical manifestation of a Cartier VIP client’s exacting personal preferences. Departing from conventional styling, the client paired the classical warmth of an 18K yellow gold case with a deeply sophisticated silvered dial featuring subtle «ghost grey» painted Roman numerals. This creates a mesmerizing, monochromatic effect where the distorted layout is completed by Cartier’s hidden signature within the «VII» and an unusual, visible placement of the «Swiss Made» signature at six o’clock. With CEO Louis Ferla restructuring the framework and halting standard bespoke commissions, this «Ghost» Crash has instantaneously transitioned from a contemporary rarity into a historically closed artifact. As one of the absolute last-era bespoke creations executed under the original client-driven format, this piece unique offers the collectors a fleeting, unrepeatable collecting opportunity. It is accompanied by original fitted box, Certificate of Origin, warranty card, loupe, instruction booklet.

he present lot represents a highly significant and historically chapter in modern Cartier horology: an extremely fine and possibly unique manual-winding wristwatch, bespoke-commissioned under the Maison’s elusive New Special Order (NSO) program. While the Cartier Crash has long been regarded as the ultimate canvas—and the most difficult model to secure via private commission—this specific example stands as an extraordinary, avant-garde execution. Beautifully cased in 18K white gold, it features a captivating, unique grey fumé dial paired with striking British racing green painted Roman numerals. The layout is highly distinctive, completed with Cartier’s hidden signature within the «VII» and an unusal placement of the «Swiss Made» signature positioned visibly at six o’clock. In April 2025, under CEO Louis Ferla, Cartier reviewed and fundamentally restructure the NSO programme, restricting future commissions to a far smaller number of more exceptional pieces. Individual customisation of the kind represented here is no longer available in its former form. This white gold and grey fumé Crash is not merely a contemporary rarity; it is one of the final artifacts from a now-extinct golden era. It offers the global collecting community a fleeting, unrepeatable opportunity to own a piece of modern Cartier history at its final, definitive peak. The watch is accompanied by original fitted box, certificate, warranty, instruction booklets, loupe. It is fitted to leather with an 18k white gold Cartier deployant clasp.

mong the more elusive Rolex dress watches of the 1950s, reference 8029 is remarkable first for its proportions. Measuring 37.2 mm, it was exceptionally large by the standards of its era, giving the watch a presence more commonly associated with contemporary wristwatches than with the restrained dress models produced by Rolex during the period. The present example acquires considerably greater interest through its association with Serpico y Laino, the celebrated Caracas retailer whose name is closely linked to some of the most desirable vintage watches supplied to the Venezuelan market. Particularly noteworthy is the caseback, which retains both the Rolex crown and serial number together with the “Serpico Y Laino Acero” inscription, an unusual and important detail identifying the watch as a stainless steel example retailed by the firm. Its restrained dial and manually wound calibre 10 1/2’’’ stand in deliberate contrast to the unusually broad case. The result is a watch of striking simplicity, where rarity comes not from complication but from an uncommon combination of scale, material and retailer provenance. Very few examples of reference 8029 have appeared publicly over the past two decades. With its oversized stainless steel case and documented Serpico y Laino connection, the present watch represents a particularly unusual chapter in Rolex’s mid-century production. Another newly discovered timepiece by Rolex, the reference 8029 is extremely rare with only a very few examples having appeared at auction in the last 20 years. The equivalent to the Patek Philippe reference 570, this examples differs from most having been retailed by Serpico Y Laino. Amazingly the caseback still shows the Rolex crown and serial number as well as a Serpico Y Laino Acero inscription. Without a doubt one of the most important time only oversize stainless steel Rolexes ever produced.

he present Bueche Girod is a wonderfully expressive example of the bold approach to watch design that emerged during the 1970s. Its extraordinary elongated oval case abandons almost every convention of the traditional round wristwatch, stretching vertically along the wrist to create an object that sits somewhere between horology, jewellery and sculpture. The substantial yellow gold case is deliberately smooth and uninterrupted, its broad rounded bezel flowing continuously around the crystal. Within it, the ivory coloured dial is dominated by dramatically elongated black Roman numerals. Rather than simply marking the hours, the numerals appear to expand and contract with the curvature of the case, creating an almost graphic composition around the slender black hands. The discreet Bueche Girod signature seems almost secondary within this powerful play of proportion and typography. The reverse is equally striking. Completely closed and finished with a vertical satin brushing, the case back preserves the purity of the oval form and gives little indication of the movement concealed within. Paired with a burgundy leather strap and yellow gold buckle, the watch possesses the extravagant elegance associated with some of the most imaginative watch designs of the period. More than a conventional dress watch, it is a piece conceived around shape, scale and visual impact, an unusually pure expression of Bueche Girod’s distinctive design language.

iaget’s engagement with hardstone dials during the 1960s and 1970s represents one of the most distinctive and enduring contributions of any Swiss manufacture to the history of haute horlogerie, a body of work in which the boundary between watchmaking and jewellery was dissolved with a consistency and confidence that no contemporary has equalled. The cuff watch in yellow gold, conceived as a sculptural object to be worn rather than merely consulted, is among the most emblematic expressions of this philosophy, its architectural form derived not from the conventions of the wristwatch but from the traditions of the goldsmith and the jeweller, and its dial conceived not as an instrument of legibility but as a mineral canvas of intrinsic beauty. The present example, serial number 166,841, dating to approximately the early 1970s and among the rarest configurations of the Reference 9411 D 69, presents a dial in blood jasper, a stone of exceptional chromatic intensity whose deep oxblood ground, veined and mottled with the natural inclusions that give each piece its irreproducible individuality, has been selected here with a discernment that speaks directly to the standards maintained by Piaget’s atelier at the height of its creative ambition. Blood jasper occupies a particular position within the hierarchy of hardstones favoured by Piaget during this period: rarer in fine horological use than turquoise or lapis lazuli, and possessed of a visual drama that places it at the most commanding end of the spectrum of mineral dials produced by the manufacture. No two examples are alike, and the specific distribution of colour, veining and surface texture in the present dial constitutes a composition that could not have been designed and cannot be reproduced. The open-worked yellow gold bangle, textured across its surface in the characteristically bold decorative vocabulary of Piaget’s most ambitious jewellery-watch production, frames the stone dial with an architectural authority that transforms the watch into an object of wearable sculpture. The openwork construction, requiring considerably greater labour and technical mastery than a solid bangle of equivalent dimensions, reduces the visual mass of the gold while simultaneously increasing its perceived presence on the wrist, a paradox of design that Piaget’s craftsmen understood intuitively and exploited with consistent brilliance throughout this period. In a market increasingly attentive to the convergence of horological and decorative arts, the Reference 9411 D 69 in blood jasper and yellow gold represents an object of the first order, combining the manufacture’s finest material instincts with a formal boldness that has only grown more relevant with the passage of time.

remarkable expression of Chopard’s high jewellery production of the 1970s, the present reference 4009/1, case no. 96306, transcends the traditional form of a wristwatch to become a miniature piece of wearable sculpture. Executed in 18K white gold, its extraordinary asymmetrical architecture is conceived as a stylised grape cluster cascading naturally across the upper part of the watch. Fourteen marquise-cut diamonds, weighing approximately 2.36 carats in total, are individually arranged in an overlapping composition evoking the leaves and fruit of a bunch of grapes. Their graduated proportions and seemingly spontaneous placement create a remarkable sense of movement, as though the cluster were naturally falling around the case and onto the wrist. The sculptural composition flows into the generously diamond-set case and integrated bracelet. The watch carries approximately 5.09 carats of diamonds in total, comprising the fourteen marquise-cut diamonds of approximately 2.36 carats together with 193 brilliant-cut diamonds pavé-set throughout the white gold case and bracelet. The marquise-cut stones are particularly attractive, displaying pleasing proportions and a lively brilliance that contrasts beautifully with the dense scintillation of the surrounding pavé setting.

At the centre of this elaborate jewel lies a remarkably pure black onyx dial. Entirely devoid of hour markers, its polished surface is interrupted only by the Chopard Genève signature and a pair of sharply faceted hands. The absolute simplicity and depth of the black onyx provides a dramatic visual counterpoint to the brilliance of the diamonds, allowing the cascading grape-cluster composition to remain the undisputed focus of the design. Measuring approximately 31 mm in diameter and weighing approximately 41.48 grams, the watch retains an elegant and surprisingly balanced presence despite the richness of its construction. The case, dial and movement are signed. The inner case is numbered 96306 and bears reference 4009/1. The watch is fitted with a manually wound movement. More than fifty years after its creation, this extraordinary Chopard remains a compelling illustration of an era in which the Maison approached the wristwatch as much as a jewel as an instrument for measuring time. The cascading “Grape Cluster” composition, deep black onyx dial and abundant diamond setting combine to create an unmistakable object of 1970s Geneva high jewellery, exuberant in conception yet remarkably sophisticated in execution.

T

he reference 5100 occupies a fascinating and almost experimental chapter in Rolex history. Introduced in 1970, it was the manufacture’s first quartz wristwatch, created at a moment when electronic timekeeping appeared destined to redefine the future of Swiss watchmaking. At its heart is the Beta 21, developed by the Centre Electronique Horloger, a consortium bringing together some of Switzerland’s leading manufactures. Rolex adapted the movement as the calibre RE10 and housed it in a watch unlike almost anything else in its catalogue. Its architecture was dictated as much by technology as by design. The substantial Beta 21 required an equally substantial case, resulting in the broad, angular silhouette that would later earn the reference its Italian collector nickname, “Texano”. Executed entirely in 18K yellow gold, the case flows directly into a heavy integrated bracelet, giving the watch an imposing presence of approximately 190 grams. The silvered dial provides a restrained counterpoint, with applied gold baton indexes, central seconds and a date aperture at 3 o’clock beneath a sapphire crystal, itself a notable innovation for Rolex at the time. The reference 5100 was Rolex’s first production watch fitted with sapphire crystal. The present watch is individually numbered 906. Early reference 5100 watches were produced as a numbered series, with the number engraved on the case, further distinguishing them from conventional Rolex production. Contemporary scholarship and auction records generally associate the initial production with approximately 1,000 examples, predominantly in yellow gold. What makes this example especially appealing is the survival of its period ensemble. It is accompanied by its Rolex guarantee, apparently dated 1976, together with period Rolex presentation boxes, booklets and related accessories. The original 18K yellow gold integrated bracelet completes the striking monochromatic architecture of the watch. More than an early quartz curiosity, the reference 5100 captures Rolex at a rare moment of technological experimentation. Its Beta 21 movement, numbered case, immense gold construction and unmistakably 1970s design make the “Texano” one of the most unconventional watches ever to bear the Rolex crown.

ew Rolex designs are as immediately associated with precious metal as the Day-Date. Since its introduction in 1956, the model has occupied a distinctive position within the manufacture’s collection, combining the practicality of its fully spelled-out day and instantaneous date displays with a case produced exclusively in precious metals.

The present reference 118205 offers an especially warm and harmonious interpretation of the classic 36 mm Day-Date. Its 18K pink gold case is complemented by a matching pink-toned dial, creating an elegant monochromatic composition that changes subtly with the light. Applied pink gold Roman numerals lend the dial a more formal character, while the arched day aperture at 12 o’clock and magnified date at 3 remain unmistakable signatures of the model. Particularly attractive is the smooth polished bezel. In place of the fluted bezel so closely associated with the Day-Date, its uninterrupted surface gives the watch a softer, more understated profile and allows the colour of the pink gold to dominate. The full 18K pink gold bracelet continues this visual continuity around the wrist, alternating brushed and polished surfaces and giving the watch the substantial presence expected from a precious-metal Rolex. The reference is powered by the automatic calibre 3155, the long-serving Day-Date movement introduced in the late 1980s. It features Rolex’s double quick-set system, allowing both the day and date indications to be adjusted independently from the time, a significant practical refinement over earlier generations. Dating from circa 2000, this example brings together several elements that give the Day-Date its enduring character: compact 36 mm proportions, a full precious-metal construction and one of Rolex’s most recognizable calendar displays. The combination of pink gold, smooth bezel and Roman numeral dial gives the watch a particularly refined and cohesive appearance.

ew versions of the GMT-Master II depart as dramatically from the model’s utilitarian origins as the reference 116759 SANR. Conceived as a full jewellery interpretation of Rolex’s celebrated travel watch, it combines the familiar 40 mm Oyster architecture with 18K white gold and extensive factory diamond setting, while retaining the practical GMT functionality that defines the collection.

The bezel is set with baguette-cut diamonds, their geometric arrangement providing a sharp contrast to the brilliant-cut stones covering the lugs. Rather than appearing as an addition to the watch, the gem-setting follows the architecture of the case and continues naturally into the bracelet. Particularly impressive is the original 18K white gold Oyster bracelet, whose centre links are extensively pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds. The polished outer links remain exposed, preserving the visual structure of the traditional Oyster bracelet and creating a subtle contrast between polished metal and the brilliance of the stones. Against this elaborate setting, the black dial remains remarkably restrained. Luminous indexes and hands preserve the clarity associated with the GMT-Master II, while the green 24-hour hand and matching green inscription provide the characteristic colour accents of this generation. The watch is powered by the self-winding calibre 3186, featuring an independently adjustable local-hour hand, date and additional 24-hour indication. Dating from circa 2012, this example illustrates a fascinating and much less frequently encountered side of Rolex production, where the architecture of a professional sports watch becomes the foundation for an elaborate factory jewellery execution. The watch is accompanied by its Rolex warranty and fitted to its original 18K white gold and factory diamond-set Oyster bracelet with deployant clasp.

he striking identity of this Cosmograph Daytona is defined above all by its celebrated “Eye of the Tiger” dial. Set against a black lacquered background, the dial is decorated with an elaborate pattern of brilliant-cut diamonds and contrasting champagne-coloured chronograph registers, creating the distinctive graphic composition from which the watch takes its nickname. Diamond-set hour markers further enhance the effect, making this one of the most immediately recognisable gem-set Daytona configurations of the modern era. The dial is framed by a bezel entirely set with baguette-cut diamonds, providing a more architectural contrast to the brilliant-cut stones used across the dial. Combined with the substantial 40 mm case in 18K yellow gold, the result is an unusually rich interpretation of the Daytona while retaining the familiar proportions and chronograph layout of Rolex’s iconic sports model. Particularly important on the present example is its full 18K yellow gold Oyster bracelet. Unlike versions encountered on Oysterflex, the solid gold bracelet dramatically changes both the appearance and presence of the watch, extending the yellow gold construction seamlessly from the case around the wrist. Its broad links, alternating polished and brushed surfaces and substantial weight reinforce the jewellery character of the “Eye of the Tiger”, while the matching 18K yellow gold deployant clasp completes the configuration. The self-winding calibre 4130, Rolex’s integrated chronograph movement with column wheel and vertical clutch. The mechanical architecture remains firmly rooted in the professional Daytona lineage, creating an intriguing contrast with the exceptional decorative treatment of the dial and bezel. Dating from 2024, the present reference 116598TBR combines three particularly compelling elements: the spectacular factory-set “Eye of the Tiger” dial, its baguette diamond bezel and the considerable presence of a full 18K yellow gold Oyster bracelet. The watch is accompanied by its box and warranty.

T

he RM 11-02 GMT represents one of the most technically complete interpretations of Richard Mille’s celebrated RM 011 platform, combining the manufacture’s distinctive tonneau architecture with a flyback chronograph, GMT indication, annual calendar and countdown display. The present Shanghai Edition is particularly rare, having been produced in a highly limited series of only 30 pieces. Its imposing 42.7 by 50 mm case is executed in Carbon TPT, whose characteristic layered structure creates an irregular surface pattern unique to each watch while providing exceptional lightness and resistance. The monochromatic carbon construction is contrasted by a white rubber strap and vivid yellow and red accents across the dial and pushers, giving this Shanghai edition a particularly strong visual identity. At its heart is the self-winding calibre RMAC2, an exceptionally complex 68-jewel movement developed around Richard Mille’s philosophy of combining mechanical performance with immediate functionality. The flyback chronograph allows instantaneous restarting of the timing sequence, while the GMT function provides a second time-zone indication. An annual calendar and oversized date complete an unusually comprehensive set of complications. Despite the density of information, the openworked dial remains unmistakably Richard Mille. The movement, indications, hands and scales are deliberately layered to create depth, allowing the mechanics themselves to form the architecture of the watch. The result is less a conventional dial than a highly technical instrument in which virtually every functional element remains visible. Limited to just 30 examples and distinguished by its Shanghai-specific configuration, the RM 11-02 combines rarity, advanced materials and one of Richard Mille’s most elaborate automatic movements in a particularly striking expression of the manufacture’s high-performance watchmaking. The watch is accompanied by its original fitted box and warranty. It is fitted to a rubber strap with a black and titanium Richard Mille deployant clasp.

T

he RM 055 Bubba Watson is one of Richard Mille’s most recognisable sports watches, developed around the principles of extreme lightness, resistance and mechanical transparency. Closely associated with professional golfer Bubba Watson, the model embodies the manufacture’s philosophy of creating highly technical watches capable of withstanding the stresses of professional sport while retaining the unmistakable architectural language of Richard Mille. The present Asia Edition offers a considerably more precious interpretation of this performance-driven concept. Its approximately 42 by 50 mm tonneau-shaped case combines Carbon TPT with 18K pink gold and extensive diamond setting. The layered, technical appearance of the carbon creates a dramatic contrast with the warmth of the pink gold and the brilliance of the diamonds, transforming the familiar RM 055 into an altogether more elaborate and visually striking creation. At its heart is the manually wound calibre RMUL2, displayed through an extensively openworked construction that makes the movement itself an essential part of the design. Its skeletonised bridges, wheels and regulating organ create a complex mechanical landscape, while the absence of a conventional dial reinforces the impression that the watch has been engineered from the inside outward. Dating from 2022 and created for the Asian market, this unusual configuration perfectly illustrates Richard Mille’s ability to bring together seemingly opposing worlds: advanced composite materials and precious metals, sporting performance and high jewellery, technical restraint and considerable visual presence. The result is a particularly distinctive interpretation of the RM 055 and one of the more elaborate executions of the Bubba Watson family. The watch is accompanied by its original fitted box and warranty. It is fitted to a rubber strap with a Richard Mille titanium double deployant clasp.

particularly rare and technically significant interpretation of the Royal Oak, the present watch combines Gérald Genta’s iconic design with Audemars Piguet’s patented Double Balance Wheel mechanism. Produced in limited numbers, this sought-after reference is distinguished by its fully openworked architecture, placing calibre 3132 at the forefront and revealing the twin balance wheels, bridges and gear train. The 41 mm stainless steel case retains the signature octagonal bezel, exposed screws and alternating brushed and polished finishes, seamlessly continued through the integrated bracelet. Its combination of stainless steel construction, openworked design and advanced movement makes it one of the most distinctive and collectible modern Royal Oak references. Accompanied by its warranty card, it represents an exceptional opportunity to acquire a highly desirable and increasingly scarce Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel.

rare and technically distinctive creation from F.P. Journe, the Élégante 48, reference ELHT, pairs a lightweight 48 mm tonneau-shaped titanium case with a striking white luminescent dial. Its innovative electro-mechanical movement enters low-energy mode when unworn and restarts automatically when moved, combining exceptional autonomy with precise timekeeping. The luminous dial offers outstanding legibility, while the sculptural case gives the watch a bold, unmistakably modern presence. Seldom offered on the market, this exceptional example represents a compelling opportunity to acquire one of F.P. Journe’s most unconventional and collectible timepieces.

ntroduced in 2010, the DB28 rapidly became one of the defining creations of De Bethune, bringing together the manufacture’s highly contemporary approach to movement construction with a design that remains immediately recognisable. The present example, dating from 2011, belongs to the early years of the model and displays many of the technical and aesthetic elements that established the DB28’s identity. Its openworked dial places the mechanics at the centre of the composition. The polished delta-shaped bridge dominates the upper portion, framed by blued titanium elements and the characteristic spherical moon-phase display at 6 o’clock. Executed as a three-dimensional rotating sphere, the moon indication became one of De Bethune’s most recognisable signatures, contrasting beautifully with the architectural construction of the movement.

The manually wound calibre DB2115V4 is displayed almost entirely from the dial side, with the balance prominently positioned at 6 o’clock and the power-reserve indication integrated into the movement architecture. This unconventional arrangement transforms the regulating organ and functional components into an essential part of the watch’s visual identity. Equally distinctive is the 42.6 mm titanium case with De Bethune’s characteristic articulated floating lugs. Their mobile construction allows the case to adapt naturally to the wrist, while titanium keeps this mechanically substantial watch remarkably light. The combination of polished titanium, intense blued details and exposed mechanics gives the DB28 its characteristic futuristic appearance. Dating from 2011 and accompanied by its original fitted box, warranty and extra strap, the present DB28 is a compelling early example of a model that has become central to De Bethune’s modern watchmaking identity.

mong the most sophisticated wristwatches produced by Vacheron Constantin during the closing decade of the twentieth century, reference 30020 brings together two of classical watchmaking’s most demanding complications, the minute repeater and the perpetual calendar, within an exceptionally elegant platinum case measuring only approximately 37 mm.

The present example was manufactured in 1994 and is accompanied by a Vacheron Constantin Extract from the Archives dated 2 March 2020, confirming the reference 30020/000P-4, platinum construction, case no. 634575, movement no. 812625 and calibre 1755QP. Its beautifully balanced two-tone silvered dial demonstrates the remarkable restraint with which Vacheron Constantin approached even its most complicated watches. Three subsidiary indications display the day of the week, date, month and leap-year cycle, while the moonphase display at 6 o’clock introduces a vivid blue accent to the otherwise monochromatic composition. Applied baton indexes and slender hands complete a dial that remains remarkably legible despite the density of information. Beneath the dial lies the manually wound calibre 1755QP, one of Vacheron Constantin’s most celebrated complicated movements of the period. The minute repeater is activated through the traditional slide positioned on the case band, striking the hours, quarters and minutes on two gongs, while the perpetual calendar mechanically accounts for months of differing lengths and leap years. Comparable examples of reference 30020 are documented with the 30-jewel calibre 1755, and the reference represented an important technical achievement for the manufacture. The movement itself is particularly beautiful. Visible through the sapphire crystal case back, its architecture reveals finely finished bridges, polished steel components, ruby jewels and the exposed repeater mechanism, creating a distinctly traditional Geneva aesthetic. The slim movement allows the watch to retain remarkably classical proportions despite the complexity contained within. The platinum case is equally distinctive. Its restrained circular architecture is framed by a stepped bezel and beautifully formed teardrop lugs, a deliberate stylistic reference to important complicated Vacheron Constantin wristwatches of the mid-twentieth century. Following our research we have noted that reference 30020 drew direct inspiration from the celebrated vintage reference 4261, reproducing both its stepped case profile and characteristic teardrop lugs while translating the design into one of Vacheron Constantin’s most technically accomplished modern wristwatches. Reference 30020 was produced in extremely limited numbers. We estimate production of 200 examples across traditional and skeletonized configurations, further underlining the rarity of surviving examples. Combining the tactile romance of a minute repeater, the mechanical intelligence of a perpetual calendar and the discretion of a classical 37 mm platinum case, reference 30020 represents a particularly pure expression of Vacheron Constantin’s traditional complicated watchmaking. Far removed from the increasingly large and overtly technical grand complications that followed, it conceals extraordinary mechanical sophistication within the proportions and visual language of a mid-century dress watch.

he Sea-Dweller “Polipetto” is one of the most distinctive special series created by Rolex in the modern era. Produced in 2008 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Diving Corps of the Italian Polizia di Stato, the watch takes the uncompromising architecture of the reference 16600 Sea-Dweller and gives it an unmistakable institutional identity. Only 78 examples were ultimately delivered, making the series exceptionally small by Rolex standards. At first glance, the watch retains the purposeful appearance of the classic Sea-Dweller: a 40 mm stainless steel Oyster case, black rotating diving bezel, helium escape valve, black dial and Oyster bracelet. Yet at 9 o’clock appears the detail that completely transforms its character, the octopus emblem of the Polizia di Stato Sommozzatori surrounded by the unit’s name. This small graphic device gave the watch its now celebrated “Polipetto”, or “small octopus”, nickname. The present example is particularly compelling because its connection to the diving corps continues beyond the dial. Its caseback is engraved “POLIZIA DI STATO SOMMOZZATORI 19582008 BREV. N.151”, identifying it as one of the examples individually associated with a diver’s brevet number. Contemporary auction research indicates that only a minority of the delivered watches received such personalized brevet engravings, adding another layer of specificity to the present piece. Beneath the caseback is Rolex’s automatic calibre 3135, the robust 31-jewel movement that powered the reference 16600. The combination of the Sea-Dweller’s professional diving construction with a genuine institutional commission gives the Polipetto an identity quite different from a conventional limited edition. It was created for a specific corps, for a specific anniversary, and was never conceived as a regular commercial model. The present watch, case no. V315044 and movement no. 6480952, is fitted with its stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet. Its engraved brevet number, special octopus dial and documented 2008 production place it among the most unusual professional Sea-Dwellers of its generation.

he present Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss reference 6541 represents one of the most elusive and historically significant professional models ever created by the manufacture. Conceived in the late 1950s for scientists and engineers working in environments saturated with magnetic fields, the reference 6541 introduced the now-legendary Milgauss name and firmly established the model as Rolex’s definitive anti-magnetic wristwatch. This example displays the unmistakable traits that define the earliest chapter of Milgauss history: the black honeycomb dial with its intricate texture, the rotating bezel calibrated to 60 units, and the celebrated lightning-bolt seconds hand that has become an enduring emblem of the model. Although the luminous material on the dial has been professionally restored, the watch retains its essential authenticity, allowing its technical purpose and visual identity to remain fully appreciated. Preserved with its period-correct Oyster riveted bracelet, the present reference 6541 stands as a rare survivor of one of the most innovative and visually striking creations in Rolex’s mid-century production. Treasured by collectors for its rarity, scientific pedigree and unmistakable design language, the 6541 continues to embody the pioneering spirit that shaped the earliest generation of Rolex’s professional tool watches.

ine and very rare stainless steel manual-winding chronograph, featuring the celebrated “Paul Newman” exotic dial, its originally dark surface displaying an attractive tropical evolution towards warm brown tones, red outer minute track and red “DAYTONA” designation above the subsidiary register at 6 o’clock. With black acrylic tachymeter bezel, screw-down case back, pump chronograph pushers and stainless steel Oyster bracelet.

The reference 6241 occupies a particularly important position within the history of the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona. Produced for only a relatively short period during the second half of the 1960s, it is distinguished from the reference 6239 by its black acrylic bezel, giving the watch a dramatically different appearance. The present example is further distinguished by its highly coveted “Paul Newman” exotic dial. Characterized by its contrasting subsidiary registers, Art Deco numerals, square-ended register markers and distinctive red details, this dial configuration has become one of the most recognizable designs in vintage Rolex collecting. Of particular appeal is the tropical evolution visible across the dark dial surface. Rather than remaining uniformly black, the dial has developed warm brown and tobacco tones, creating a striking contrast with the silver registers and red printing. Very few comparable examples have appeared publicly at auction. Most notably, a Rolex Daytona reference 6262 “Paul Newman”, case no. 2,750,821, featuring a naturally discoloured “Dark Chocolate” main dial, was offered by Aguttes in Paris in December 2024. Preserved by the family of its original owner and accompanied by its presentation box, the watch achieved an exceptional €705,399 including premium. Aguttes specifically noted the natural discoloration of the dial to its distinctive dark chocolate tone. An even rarer expression of the same phenomenon can be found among the celebrated reference 6263 “Oyster Sotto” Paul Newman Daytonas. Monaco Legend Auctions sold a reference 6263, case no. 2,197,852, in October 2023 for €1,730,000 including premium. Its originally black Paul Newman dial had developed an exceptionally homogeneous tropical brown coloration described by the auction house as a rich “milk chocolate” hue.

Combining the rarity of the reference 6241, the iconic Paul Newman dial configuration and an attractive tropical patina, the present watch represents a particularly charismatic example of one of the most desirable vintage Rolex chronographs.

he present Daytona, offered in complete and like-new condition, is from a rare series fitted with meteorite dials, whose natural Widmanstätten pattern is accentuated by an acid treatment. The silvery, organic surface provides a striking complement to the white-gold case. The dial is crafted from Gibeon meteorite, a prehistoric material discovered in Namibia in the 19th century and now protected by Namibian law. Rolex’s use of this exceptionally rare material for a limited series of Daytona watches underscores the exclusivity of the model.

ine and highly attractive automatic titanium wristwatch, distinguished by its vivid yellow aluminium alloy dial with oversized luminescent Arabic numerals, large instantaneous date displayed in red, power reserve indication, day and night display, white sapphire subsidiary seconds with red accents, black ceramic bezel and integrated titanium bracelet. The dramatic yellow dial is framed by the dark titanium architecture of the case and bracelet, creating one of the most immediately recognizable and unconventional expressions of F.P. Journe’s contemporary production.

The Automatique Réserve occupies a singular position within the lineSport collection, translating François-Paul Journe’s distinctive horological language into a watch conceived around lightness, comfort and everyday performance. Its 44 mm titanium case measures only 11 mm in thickness, while the extensive use of titanium and aluminium allows the watch to retain an unexpectedly light presence despite its generous proportions. Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback is the automatic calibre 1300.3, executed in aluminium alloy and wound by an off-centred titanium rotor fitted with a tungsten segment. The movement combines the architecture of Journe’s celebrated Octa family with an instantaneous large date, small seconds, day and night indication and power reserve display. Yet it is the dial that gives the present watch its extraordinary personality. The saturated yellow surface, sculptural applied numerals, red typography and exposed white seconds register create an almost instrument-like composition, playful in colour yet unmistakably Journe in its asymmetry and mechanical intelligence. Against the monochromatic titanium case and bracelet, the dial appears almost suspended within the watch. 144

T

he Élégante 48 Gino’s Dream reveals a playful and unexpectedly flamboyant side of F.P. Journe. Its 40 by 48 mm Titalyt case provides a dark, technical frame for a bezel set with baguette stones in a graduated rainbow spectrum, while the luminescent black dial intensifies the contrast between colour and shadow. At its heart is the electro-mechanical calibre 1210, a movement that places the Élégante apart from Journe’s conventional mechanical production and reflects the watchmaker’s willingness to rethink even the basic relationship between movement, energy and everyday wear. The tonneau-shaped case is broad yet light, and the rubber strap reinforces the contemporary character of the design. Against this restrained foundation, the rainbow bezel appears almost luminous. The result is unusual within the Journe universe: technically unconventional, visually exuberant and immediately recognisable. Gino’s Dream does not attempt the sober classicism of the Souverain family; instead, it embraces colour and modernity while retaining the independent spirit that defines the manufacture. The watch is best understood as part of Journe’s broader investigation into precision, energy management and the visual expression of mechanics. Rather than separating movement and design, the manufacture treats them as a single composition: the placement of indications follows the architecture beneath, and the proportions of the case are kept sufficiently restrained for the mechanism to remain the principal subject. This coherence, together with the small-scale nature of production, gives the piece the intimate character associated with independent haute horlogerie. The watch is accompanied by original fitted box, warranty. It is fitted to rubber with a titanium and steel FP Journe deployant clasp. 147

T

he Octa Quantième Perpétuel presents F.P. Journe’s perpetual calendar in a warmer and more classical register. Its 40 mm case in 18K pink gold frames a white dial whose restrained palette allows the calendar indications to remain exceptionally clear. Powered by the self-winding calibre 1300.3, the watch belongs to the Octa family and combines the intellectual complexity of a perpetual calendar with the practical character of an automatic movement and power reserve. The contrast between the warm case and pale dial gives the watch a softness absent from the platinum Boutique Edition, revealing how dramatically material and colour can alter the personality of the same complication. Despite the amount of information displayed, the dial never feels crowded; the indications are arranged with the deliberate asymmetry and visual discipline characteristic of Journe. It is a perpetual calendar that rewards daily use as much as technical study, presenting a major complication with an ease and intimacy that remain central to the independent watchmaker’s appeal. A closer reading of the dial reveals Journe’s preference for practical complexity. The perpetual calendar information is distributed so that each indication can be read independently, while the automatic Octa architecture was conceived for sustained autonomy and everyday use. This gives the watch a different character from a purely ceremonial grand complication: it is mechanically sophisticated, yet designed to be lived with. The combination of case metal, dial colour and asymmetric indications creates a strong visual identity without obscuring the underlying logic of the calendar mechanism. The watch is accompanied by original fitted box, warranty. It is fitted to leather with an 18k pink gold FP Journe buckle.

he Vagabondage II stands apart even within F.P. Journe’s highly individual body of work. Its flat tortue-shaped case abandons the familiar round architecture of the Souverain and Octa families, while the display replaces conventional hands with jumping hours and digital minutes. Powered by the manually wound calibre 1509, the watch turns the passing of time into a sequence of mechanical indications rather than a traditional circular reading. The 18K pink gold case adds warmth to an otherwise highly technical and almost futuristic composition, its broad polished surfaces framing a display that remains instantly recognisable as Journe. Limited to only 68 examples in pink gold, the Vagabondage II belongs to a small and highly distinctive family within the manufacture’s production. It is a watch of contrasts: precious yet unconventional, mechanically complex yet visually spare, and shaped less like a traditional wristwatch than a small horological object conceived around the movement of numbers across the dial. The Vagabondage family also occupies an unusual position in Journe’s catalogue because its form and display sit deliberately outside the established visual codes of the round Souverain and Octa collections. The shaped case follows the geometry of the movement rather than imposing a conventional dial architecture upon it. Hours and minutes therefore appear as mechanical events, advancing in discrete steps and giving the wearer a more direct perception of the passage of time. In pink gold, that experimental display is tempered by the warmth of the case, producing a watch that feels at once technical, precious and deeply individual. The watch is accompanied by original fitted box and certificate. It is fitted to leather with an 18k pink gold FP Journe deployant clasp.

T

he RM 35-02 Rafael Nadal represents one of Richard Mille’s most accomplished expressions of high-performance sports watchmaking. Developed within the celebrated Rafael Nadal family, the model translates many of the technical principles established by the manufacture’s extreme tourbillon watches into a self-winding wristwatch conceived around lightness, resistance and exceptional ergonomics. Its imposing 50 by 44 mm tonneau-shaped case is constructed from Carbon TPT, formed from multiple layers of carbon fibres that create the distinctive striated pattern visible across the case. The material combines exceptional rigidity with remarkably low weight, while its unique surface means that no two cases present exactly the same appearance. At its heart is the self-winding calibre RMAL1, revealed almost entirely through the extensively skeletonised dial. Bridges, wheels and structural components are exposed rather than concealed, transforming the movement into the visual architecture of the watch. Bright pink, yellow and red accents punctuate the otherwise monochromatic composition, reinforcing the deliberately sporting character of the reference. The RM 35-02 is particularly significant as the first automatic model in the RM 035 family, combining the convenience of self-winding with the lightweight construction and shock resistance associated with Richard Mille’s partnership with Rafael Nadal. Despite its substantial dimensions, the extensive use of Carbon TPT and openworked components allows the watch to remain exceptionally light on the wrist. Dating from 2017, the present example captures Richard Mille’s characteristic approach to modern watchmaking: advanced materials, exposed mechanics and performance-driven engineering expressed through an unmistakably architectural design. The watch is accompanied by its original fitted box and warranty.

F

.P. Journe’s Quantième Perpétuel approaches one of traditional watchmaking’s most demanding calendar complications with characteristic clarity. Powered by the self-winding calibre 1300.3 from the Octa family, the watch combines perpetual calendar indications with the practical autonomy and architecture associated with Journe’s automatic movements. In the present Boutique Edition, the 40 mm platinum case is paired with a blue dial, a combination that gives the watch a particularly rich but restrained visual identity. The calendar information is arranged to remain immediately legible, allowing the complexity of the mechanism to recede behind an apparently simple display. This tension between mechanical depth and visual ease is central to the watch’s appeal. Platinum provides physical weight and cool luminosity, while the blue dial changes character according to the light, from almost inky darkness to a more vivid tone. The result is a perpetual calendar that feels both serious and highly wearable, technically sophisticated without appearing burdened by its complication. It is fitted to leather with a platinum FP Journe deployant clasp.

entigraphe Souverain The hand-wound movement measures elapsed times from one hundredth of a second to 10 minutes on three dials. The flyingseconds dial at 10 o’clock goes around in one second on a scale marked in hundredths of a second, making it theoretically possible to time an object moving at 360,000 km/h, or approximately 1/3000ths of the speed of light. One ingenious feature of the flying-seconds hand is that it can be stopped anywhere along its one-second journey around its dial, even between two 100th-second divisions, enabling an approximate fractional reading. On the dial at 2 o’clock, the hand revolves in 20 seconds around a time scale divided into seconds. The outer tachometer scale shows the speed against the odd seconds, while the inner scale corresponds to the even seconds. The third dial, at 6 o’clock, whose hand revolves in 10 minutes, has a similar tachometer scale with speeds corresponding to 20-second markers. The chronograph is started, stopped and zeroed by a rocker at 2 o’clock in the case band instead of the usual buttons on either side of the crown. This ergonomic solution has been patented. A second patent was granted for the ingenious configuration of the mechanism, which effectively isolates the chronograph from the timekeeping function. As a result, the amplitude of the balance is unaffected when the chronograph is running. Examples such as this one featuring a platinum case and salmon dial were made in a very little series, scholars believe less than 15 examples were produced.

T

he Tourbillon Vertical is one of F.P. Journe’s most sculptural explorations of chronometry, placing the regulating organ vertically so that it becomes a true three-dimensional presence within the dial. The calibre 1519 combines the vertical tourbillon with constant force, dead beat seconds and a power reserve indication, bringing together several of the watchmaker’s most characteristic technical preoccupations in a single composition. In platinum, the 42 mm case gives the mechanism a substantial frame, while the Black Series dial lends the watch a particularly graphic and contemporary character. Reserved to existing F.P. Journe clients and produced in extremely small numbers for the boutiques, the Black Series occupies a discreet but important place within modern Journe collecting. Here, the darkness of the dial heightens the contrast of the exposed mechanics and turns an already exceptional tourbillon into an object of unusual visual intensity, rigorous in conception yet almost theatrical in its presentation. Beyond the immediate spectacle of the regulating organ, the composition is characteristic of François-Paul Journe’s insistence that a complication should remain legible as an idea. The dial architecture reveals the hierarchy of the mechanism at a glance, while the precious-metal case gives the watch the density and tactile presence associated with the manufacture’s most ambitious pieces. Seen in profile and on the wrist, the relationship between case, dial openings and movement creates a sense of depth that is difficult to convey in photographs. It is this union of chronometric research, independent production and a highly personal visual language that gives the watch its distinctive place within contemporary haute horlogerie. The watch is accompanied by original fitted box, warranty. It is fitted to leather with a platinum FP Journe buckle. The black label series were available exclusively to previous Journe owners and each year only 2 are made per boutique and feature a black dial.

1.LOTS OFFERED FOR SALE Before the sale, all lots may be examined at the exhibition times listed in the catalogue. All interested persons including, without limitation, bidder’s representatives and auction agents are understood to have examined all lots which they purchase and to accept them as they are at the moment of the fall of the Auctioneer’s hammer and not necessarily as described in any written material or oral communications. Those persons interested in purchasing any of the lots being sold shall be responsible for examining the lots personally to confirm their actual condition. All lots are sold “as is” according to their condition at the moment of the fall of the Auctioneer’s hammer. Buyer acknowledges that it is the responsibility of buyer to fully inspect each lot before bidding and hereby represents that the amounts bid for any lot are based solely on buyer’s own independent inspection and evaluation of that lot. Antiquorum has included in the catalogue estimates of the value of the lots to be sold. Such estimates have been developed using such experts, tests and other methods as Antiquorum has deemed in its sole discretion to be appropriate under the circumstances. Antiquorum shall have no liability whatsoever relating to estimates of value attributed to the lots and all participants in the auction shall be responsible for reaching their own conclusions as to the value of the lots. Neither Antiquorum nor the consignor is responsible for any errors and omissions in the catalogue or any advertisements or other written material, it being understood that any description or statement therein does not constitute a warranty or representation and is provided for identification purposes only. Unless specified in the catalogue, lots are subject to reserve price which is a confidential minimum amount the consignor is willing to accept. If the reserve price is not reached, the Auctioneer may withdraw the lot from the sale.

166

The Auctioneer may open bidding on any lot below the reserve by placing a bid on behalf of the consignor. The Auctioneer may continue to bid on behalf of the consignor up to the amount of the reserve, either by placing successive or consecutive bids for a lot, or by placing bids in response to other bidders. Except for the limited warranty, contained in section 2 below, all lots are sold without any representations or warranties by Antiquorum or the consignor as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, rarity, importance, the correctness of the catalogue or other description concerning the author, maker, origin, period, age, attribution, authenticity, provenance, weight or condition of any object. No statement (whether oral or written, made in the catalogue, an advertisement, a bill of sale, posting, announcement or elsewhere) whether made by any employee or agent of Antiquorum shall be deemed to be a warranty, representation or assumption of liability. Neither Antiquorum nor the consignor have any responsibility whatsoever for any defect in or deterioration of any lot. WATCHES AND CLOCKS (i) Almost all clocks and watches are repaired in their lifetime and may include parts which are not original. We do not give a warranty that any individual component part of any watch or clock is authentic. Clocks may be sold without pendulums, weights or keys. (ii) As collectors’ watches and clocks often have very fine and complex mechanisms, a general service, change of battery or further repair work may be necessary, for which you are responsible. We do not give a warranty that any watch or clock is in good working order. Certificates are not available unless described in the catalogue. (iii) Most watches have been opened to find out the type and quality of movement. For that reason, watches with water resistant cases may not be waterproof and we recommend you have them checked by a competent watchmaker

before use. JEWELS (i) Coloured gemstones (such as rubies, sapphires, emeralds….) may have been treated to improve their look, through methods such as heating and oiling. These methods are accepted by the international jewellery trade but may make the gemstone less strong and/or require special care over time. (ii) All types of gemstones may have been improved by some method. We do not obtain a gemmological report for every gemstone sold in our auctions. Where we do get gemmological reports from internationally accepted gemmological laboratories, such reports will be described in the catalogue. Because of differences in approach and technology, laboratories may not agree whether a particular gemstone has been treated, the amount of treatment or whether treatment is permanent. The gemmological laboratories will only report on the improvements or treatments known to the laboratories at the date of the report. (iii) For jewellery sales, estimates are based on the information in any gemmological report or, if no report is available, assume that the gemstones may have been treated or enhanced. Any lot sold at auction may be affected by laws on exports from the country in which it is sold and the import restrictions of other countries. Many countries require a declaration of export for property leaving the country and/or an import declaration on entry of property into the country. Local laws may prevent you from importing a lot or may prevent you selling a lot in the country you import it into. Be aware that gold of less than 18ct does not qualify in all countries as ‘gold’ and may be refused import into those countries as ‘gold’.

General terms and conditions of sales 2. LIMITED WARRANTY Except as otherwise provided in the paragraph immediately following, Antiquorum warrants that, upon the consummation of the sale of any lot under the terms and conditions contained in this catalogue, clear and unencumbered right, title and interest in and to such lot shall pass to the buyer. Antiquorum guarantees for a period of one (1) year from the date of sale that the authorship of each lot in this catalogue is as set out in the bold or capitalized type in the catalogue description of the lot. Antiquorum makes no warranties, whatsoever, whether express or implied, with respect to any material in the catalogue other than that appearing in the bold or capitalized heading subject to the exclusions below. Antiquorum does not guaranty that all component parts of any timepiece are original to the timepiece. If an official document issued by the manufacturer, such as an extract from the archives or a certificate of authenticity, is not provided with a watch, Antiquorum does not warrant that the case and movement are matching. A non-matching case and movement does not question the authenticity of a watch. Please be advised that no cancellations will be accepted on this basis. The guarantee does not apply if the catalogue description was in accordance with the opinion of generally accepted experts and specialists at the date of the sale, or the catalogue description indicated that there was a conflict of such opinions. The guarantee is provided for a period of one (1) year from the date of the relevant auction, is solely for the benefit of the original purchaser of record and is not transferrable. In the event of any claim by the original purchaser regarding a bold or capitalized provision, said purchaser must (i) notify Antiquorum in writing within 7 days of receiving any information that causes the original purchaser of record to question the accuracy of the bold or capitalized type heading, specifying the lot number, date of the auction at which it was purchased and reasons for such question: and (ii) return the lot to Antiquorum at the original selling location in the same condition as at the date of sale to the original purchaser of record and be able to transfer good title to the lot, free from any third party claims arising after the date of such sale. Antiquorum has discretion to waive any of the above requirements. It is specifically understood and agreed that the rescission of a sale and the refund of the original purchase price paid (the successful hammer price, plus the buyer’s premium) is exclusive and in lieu of any other remedy which might otherwise be available as a matter of law, or in equity. Antiquorum and the consignor shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages incurred or claimed, including without limitation, loss of profits or interest. Other than the limited warranty and guarantee provisions above, Antiquorum and the consignor make no representations, warranties or

guarantees regarding the lots sold hereunder.

3. THE AUCTION The auction will be conducted in French but the bidding may be translated also into English. The purchase price payable by a buyer will be the sum of the final bid price plus the buyer’s premium, together with any applicable sales or compensating use tax. In addition to the hammer price, the buyer’s premium is payable as follows: 25% of the hammer price on each lot up to and including USD 1,000,000, 20% from USD 1,000,001 to USD 5,000,000 and 15% from USD 5,000,001. Antiquorum may in its sole and absolute discretion and at any time withdraw, group differently or divide any lot included for sale and shall have no liability whatsoever for the same. Antiquorum reserves the right to refuse any bids in its full and absolute discretion. In the event of any dispute between bidders, or any other issue with respect to the bidder, the Auctioneer will have absolute discretion to determine the successful bidder, to continue the bidding, to cancel the sale or to reoffer and resell the article in dispute. His/her decision is recorded in the sale report which is conclusive. Bidding shall generally be increased in increments of 10%, however, the Auctioneer may modify bidding increments from time to time at his/her absolute discretion. The minimum bid is communicated during the auction. Any person bidding for the account of a third party is fully liable for any obligation assumed by such person relating to the sale. This liability includes, without limitation, the verification of the condition and valuation of lots and the payment for lots purchased. Although Antiquorum, in its sole discretion, may execute absentee bids (written bids left with Antiquorum prior to sale) or accept telephone and internet bids as a convenience to clients who are not present at auction, Antiquorum is not responsible for failing to execute such bids or for any errors or omissions in connection therewith. High value lots (identified by Antiquorum in its entire discretion) may, unless otherwise agreed, be bid for only by prospective Buyers who have completed pre-bidding registration for the high value lot category.

4. PAYMENT Title to the offered lot passes to the buyer upon the fall of the bid caller’s hammer and the announcement by the bid caller that the lot has been sold, subject to compliance by the buyer with all other conditions of sale, including full payment as required hereunder. Buyer shall have no right to revoke acceptance of any lot after the fall of the hammer. The buyer thereupon assumes full risk and responsibility for the lot. The buyer shall immediately pay the full purchase price, buyer’s

commission and all applicable sales and other taxes in USD using a method of payment acceptable to auctioneer (including USD currency, bank wire). Lots marked with an asterisk (*) are subject to the applicable tax and duties (Hammer price and commission). In addition USD 180 closing costs for temporary importation will be invoiced to the purchaser. Taxes will be fully retroceded upon presentation of an export declaration outside the USA validated by the US administration. Lots are delivered to the buyer only upon the full payment of all such amounts. Shipping and packing arrangements and charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer. After payment has been made in full, Antiquorum may, as a service to the buyer, arrange to have the purchased lots packed, insured and shipped at the buyer’s request and expense. In this event, the buyer agrees that all said packaging, handling and shipping is at the sole risk of the buyer and that Antiquorum shall have no liability for any loss or damage to the purchased lots. Antiquorum may move the property to an off-site storage at the risk of the buyer. Buyer will be required to pay all applicable taxes, or fees levied by any authority (unless Antiquorum receives satisfactory proof of exemption, to be determined in Antiquorum’s sole discretion). The successful bidder shall be responsible for all applicable taxes, including, without limitation, sales tax, use tax, or equivalent taxes, on the hammer price, the buyer’s premium, and/or any other charges related to the lot. For lots collected in Miami or delivered to an address in the State of Florida, applicable Florida state and local sales tax will be collected where legally required. The applicable tax rate will be determined based upon the jurisdiction of delivery or transfer of possession, in accordance with applicable Florida law. For lots shipped outside the State of Florida by a carrier authorized by the auction house, Florida sales tax generally will not apply where the requirements for an out-of-state delivery are satisfied. However, sales or use tax, import duties, customs charges, or other taxes imposed by the destination jurisdiction may apply, including where the auction house has a tax collection obligation in that jurisdiction, and the successful bidder is solely responsible for payment of such amounts. If the buyer or the buyer’s designated carrier collects the lot from the auction house’s premises in Miami, the applicable tax treatment will be determined in accordance with Florida law, including the rules applicable to delivery and transfer of possession to the purchaser or the purchaser’s designee. Successful bidders claiming an exemption from Florida sales tax must provide all documentation required under applicable Florida law to establish such exemption. The auction house reserves the right to require appropriate exemption certificates or other supporting documentation before releasing the lot.

167

General terms and conditions of sales The auction house may require appropriate documentation establishing the basis for any claimed exemption. For deliveries to jurisdictions where the auction house is not required to collect tax, the buyer may nevertheless have a use tax or similar tax obligation. It is the sole responsibility of the successful bidder to ascertain and pay all taxes, duties, and other charges due in connection with the purchase. The auction house recommends that bidders consult an independent tax advisor regarding their specific tax obligations. It is expressly agreed that consignor shall only receive payment for a lot provided Antiquorum has received full payment from buyer, including such lost commissions and administrative and handling charges.

5. REMEDIES, APPLICABLE LAWS AND JURISDICTION To the extent that any other information or provision set forth in this catalogue is inconsistent with the Conditions of Sale, the Conditions of Sale shall be controlling. If the buyer fails to comply with any of these Conditions of Sale, Antiquorum may (in addition to asserting all remedies available by law), (i) hold such defaulting buyer liable for the purchase price; (ii) cancel the sale; (iii) resell the property without reserve at public auction or privately on seven days’ notice to the buyer; (iv) pay the consignor an amount equal to the net proceeds payable in respect of the amount bid by the defaulting buyer and then resell the property to a third party without reserve at public auction or privately on fifteen (15) days written notice to such buyer; or (v) return the lot to the consignor, provided fortyfive (45) days have elapsed and no payment has been received from buyer; or (vi) take such other action as Antiquorum deems necessary or appropriate. If Antiquorum resells the property pursuant to clause (iii) or (iv) above, the defaulting buyer shall be liable for the payment of any deficiency between the purchase price and the price obtained upon resale and all costs and expenses, including administration, handling, insurance, warehousing, the expenses of both sales, reasonable attorneys’ fees, commissions, incidental damages and all other charges due hereunder. In the event that such buyer pays a portion of the purchase price for any or all lots purchased, Antiquorum shall apply the payment received to such lot or lots as Antiquorum, in its sole discretion, deems appropriate. Any buyer who fails to comply with these Conditions of Sale will be deemed to have granted Antiquorum a security interest in, and Antiquorum

168

may retain as collateral security for such buyer’s obligation to it, any property in Antiquorum’s possession owned by such buyer. This security interest secures the principal amount of any such claim and also any outstanding or accruing interest, commissions, costs and all other fees as well as any and all damages suffered by Antiquorum. Antiquorum shall be entitled, but not obligated, to exercise and enforce any security interest it holds, without further notice to the buyer and without any additional formalities, in the event of the buyer’s default in payment or failure to fulfill any other obligation under these Conditions of Sale. Antiquorum may, at its sole discretion, realize its security by way of private sale or any other method it deems appropriate. For this purpose, Antiquorum shall not be required to comply with the formalities applicable to debt collection or bankruptcy proceedings under Florida or federal law. Furthermore, Antiquorum reserves the right to initiate or continue legal proceedings against the buyer without first disposing of the secured property and without waiving any rights or interests it may hold in such property. Payment will not be deemed to have been made in full until Antiquorum has collected sufficient funds. In the event the buyer fails to pay any or all of the total purchase price for any lot and Antiquorum nonetheless elects to pay the consignor any portion of the sale proceeds, the buyer acknowledges that Antiquorum shall have all of the rights of the consignor to pursue the buyer for any amounts paid to the consignor, whether at law, in equity, or under these Conditions of Sale. The buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy against Antiquorum and the consignor shall be the rescission of the sale and the refund of the original purchase price paid for the lot. This remedy shall be in lieu of any other remedy which might otherwise be available as a matter of law, and neither Antiquorum nor the consignor shall be liable, in whole or in part, for any special, incidental or consequential damages, including, without limitation, loss of profits. By bidding at the auction, whether present in person or by agent, by absentee bid, telephone, internet, or other means, the buyer shall be deemed to have consented to the following: The buyer agrees that when bidding in any of our sales that he will strictly comply with all local laws and regulations in force at the time of the sale for the relevant sale site. The buyer hereby irrevocably and unconditionally waives any objection to the laying of venue of any such suit, action or proceeding brought in any such court and any claim that any such suit, action or proceeding brought in any such court has been brought in an inconvenient forum. The buyer agrees that a final judgment in any such

suit, action or proceeding brought in any such court shall be conclusive and binding upon the buyer and may be enforced in any other courts to whose jurisdiction the buyer is or may be subject, by suit upon such judgment; • No waiver, delay, modification or breach of any provision of this agreement by Antiquorum shall constitute a waiver of any preceding or succeeding breach of the same or any other provision hereof. • If any part or provision of this agreement is, for any reason, adjudged unenforceable, such adjudication shall in no way affect any other part or provision of this agreement or the validity or enforcement of the remainder of this agreement, and the part or provision affected shall be curtailed or altered only to the minimum extent necessary to make it conform to the applicable law.
