A Reverberation is a continuation of an original wave or pulse. If we apply that same rule;the historical reverberating projections on the site can manipulate the main structures accordingly. At the beginning of my drafting and rendering education, I utilized BIM software to translate what I created free of the computer. Using the parametric restrictions of Revit’s massing tools I was able to manipulate the buildings form. These efficiencies allowed designing to continue into and during the Schematic phase without creating more work while working on revisions.

This genetics research facility is a state of the art lab designed around the marriage of the programs needs and sustainable strategies. Directly connected but not accessible to it is the Louis Kahn Center. An exhibition space, information center, and viewing deck that moves fluidly against the research facility; creating the primary structure on the site within the Cornell tech campus. Using the capabilities of Revit and visualization tools in Rhino3D the twisting structure opened up many needs for typical details as well as custum engineered materials.

Catering to custom residential projects, I educated myself with efficiencies so I can quickly digital model during design meetings. This ability allows for the translation of the design infront of the proposed user. In this case study, I was able to give the client a very clear picture of the final product with custom details and 3D prints. I use my knowledge of digital fabrication to effectively 3D model presentation quality work in all phases of development. Client Wish List

Seeking a town approval to rezone a site is no easy task. In this case the residents of Esplande Drive were concerned over the potential visual presence the building would have on its suburbian community. Working with the land use attorney; along side the site engineers, I came up with a persuasive presentation. Using Revit and real time animation in Showcase I demostrated the future outcome to the board and towns people of Hillsdale.

A private design competition was held by the Honkatalot(Now Lumi) modular construction company in Finland. As the only American design submitted, I felt compelled to hold back conservative modernism and look towards what was avaliable to withstand the test of time. The presentation of my design boards and 3D printed models, were more than what the Honkatalot expected. What they asked for was a modern vacation lodge, after our success as the winning project, 3 are being constructed acros Europe and Asia as full-time residences.

Outside creating and designing new projects; in architecture school, they do not teach you how to pick up and finish projects in real life. This apartment complex was moved in specific directions upon the clients request. It required for a more in-depth analysis and detailing of the building. What would have been a marvel to complete using Building Information Modeling a decade ago, took mere weeks to coordinate and submit for permits.
