58th Greek Festival Dear Fellow Parishioners: We have held many work days in preparation for our 58th Greek Festival. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have come out and donated your time and talent to this major undertaking. We will have volunteer sign-up sheets each Sunday in the Fellowship Hall, and you can stop by during the week to sign up as well. We are reaching out to and encouraging our new members, as well as to those who have grown up in the church, to step forward and help with this wonderful event. The Festival Committee is working hard to make sure that this year will run as smoothly as last year. We published dates for cooking and preparing the many dishes that go into this event. Please come out and support your church on these dates. If you have questions about how you may help, please be sure to ask any of the Parish Council members. In November, we will be having a Senior Luncheon. This will be a full traditional Thanksgiving meal. We will be moving the date from the third Tuesday to the second Tuesday, which is November 14th. This will allow all to enjoy the meal as the Nativity Fast begins on November 15th. This luncheon will be hosted by Heidi Silivos, Bill and Kitty Randall, and Kris and I. Always be sure to contact the church office to schedule any event in order to ensure proper support when needed and that there are no conflicts with other events. The church office hours are 10 am to 2 pm. If you need assistance after hours please be sure to contact the office and set up an appointment. Again, thank you all for your continued help and support. Working together, we can accomplish all things through God. James R. Mohamed President
