1. ABASOLO

CASA#846 CONTEXT ANALYSIS

Location: Jose Mariano Abasolo #846, Centro de Monterrey, N.L. Individual work

The generating idea of the house comes in the wake of respecting the context that implies

“Barrio Antiguo”, without leaving behind a

modern style that turn around two indoor gardens of which sustainable housing concepts are obtained.

Based on a comfort of

the spaces served and locate servers spaces spaces look more penalized

. Internal gardens

pretending to be living spaces that allow

cross ventilation throughout the building

; but without a central courtyard side , it seeks a balance between solid and void .

“Barrio Antiguo” is Monterrey; the zone

part of the

Metropolitan Area

of

consists of a set of buildings from

different periods and economic, social and cultural contexts.

Which

it reflects much of the history of

Nuevo Leon,

where

restoration and improvements in different areas considered cultural heritage, which mostly has a vernacular architecture with neoclassical influences suggests.

DESIGN PROCESS

The project has two indoor gardens with a total area of 300 mts. Which functions as a living area. So future growth is a potential factor; creating a sustainable environment in the home.


ARCHITECTURAL PROGRAM The project will be developed in 2 levels with Total area of 475 mts. The following spaces for the house are proposed: Level 2: 2 Bedroom Single 2 Full Baths
