NATURAL OF THE SLOPES OF THE MONTSERRAT MOUNTAIN
Ca N’Estruc BI was born in 2014, in a small corner of the winery, with a Xarel·lo white wine and a Sumoll red wine, produced by Anna Marti from old vines on the slopes of the Montserrat mountain.
BI wines are made from different grape varieties and craft-based working methods, and are mostly fermented and aged in amphorae, demijohns, barrels and concrete eggs.
The vineyard, a property of 21 hectares, is cultivated according to organic and biodynamic growing practices. The must is then guided to the bottle with as little manipulation as possible. The wines are bottled by gravity without filtration, fining or the addition of sulphites or other additives. BI is “wine” made only with grapes,
fermented by wild yeasts, and is therefore a faithful reflection of its terroir.
As a result, each bottle is unique and has its own numbering. The label is a reinterpretation of the first label used by Ca N’Estruc, which has been growing vines since the 16th century.Ca n'E
