An important update from my Center on Communication Leadership & Policy

Earlier today, our Center on Communication Leadership & Policy released a study that we think can have an impact in the fight against human trafficking. Based on a yearlong investigation led by our research director Mark Latonero, the study examines The Rise of Mobile and the Diffusion of TechnologyFacilitated Trafficking. It is the second such study in our initiative designed to find ways to use technology to combat human trafficking, an effort that has included work with the White House, Department of State, U.S. Department of Justice, California State Attorney General, and several leading NGOs. The report reflects one of our center's core missions: to find ways to use technology, and particularly mobile technology, to improve society.
