An important update from my Center on Communication Leadership & Policy

If you cannot view this email, click here.

Earlier today, our Center on Communication Leadership & Policy released a study that we think can have an impact in the fight against human trafficking. Based on a yearlong investigation led by our research director Mark Latonero, the study examines The Rise of Mobile and the Diffusion of TechnologyFacilitated Trafficking. It is the second such study in our initiative designed to find ways to use technology to combat human trafficking, an effort that has included work with the White House, Department of State, U.S. Department of Justice, California State Attorney General, and several leading NGOs. The report reflects one of our center's core missions: to find ways to use technology, and particularly mobile technology, to improve society. You might also be interested to know that Nicholas Kristof has just tweeted our report as follows:

If you would like more information about our research and the new report, please see below for a copy of the press release or visit technologyandtrafficking.usc.edu. Sincerely,

Geoff Geoffrey Cowan, Director Center on Communication Leadership & Policy https://ui.constantcontact.com/visualeditor/visual_editor_preview.jsp?agent.uid=1111550998010&format=html&printFrame=true
